As a kid I loved Temple of Doom and watched it growing up in the 80's more than Raiders, I had them both taped off the TV.
But now whenever I want an Indy fix I go for Raiders or, more often than not, Last Crusade. That's not to say that LC is my favourite, Raiders is the superior film, but I just find LC more watchable
I've seen them all well over 100 times each, I love all 3 in different ways - and if I've got the time a 6 hour Indy marathan is just the ticket - but I'd be interested to know which film fans go for for that 2 hour Indy fix.

As a kid, I loved ToD and LC. I usually got sick of RoLA because of all the talking. I remember key moments. The opening, of course, but the only other parts I recall were Toht burning his hand on the medallion and the brawl with the German mechanic. The other two films, ToD especially, I could watch straight through.
Now? I still watch them all, but RotLA is like a new movie sometimes because I know the other two too well.

Yeah, for your poll, Katarn, it's definitely LC. I would say it's the most "watchable" for anyone, not just Indy fans.

That reminds me of when I was younger. I would always fastfoward Raiders through the part where Major Eaton and Co. send Indy to Nepal. I guess I couldn't stand dialogue back then!
I've changed. Honest. :o
LC is too slow, not enough action. RotLA owns. :gun:

I think Raiders is the best, but I find Temple of Doom more watchable. Last Crusade was excellent, but at the end of the day, its a touchy-feely version of Raiders.

Last Crusade is too much like an Indy Parody....
Give me Temple, with Raiders being a VERY close 2nd

Depends entirely on the mood...although my wife puts her foot down on ToD if Kylie's awake. Guess she doesn't want to here "Kali ma..." over oatmeal...

For me Temple, as it has the best production values and seems the most Indy of the Indy movies, if that makes sense.

I consider both Raiders and Temple of Doom better than Last Crusade. But Temple is my favorite.

I don't know why but it seems the most Indy of the movies. Temple of Doom is the greatest adventure in the series.
Ah. Just a personal preference. I see.

No. It also has the best production values. :whip:
And what do you mean with "production values"?

Undoubtedly Temple of Doom visually looks the most polished. For example there are far less continuity errors, it has the best use of dramatic lighting, and the best special effects. Although there were some dodgy effects, most of them are so good that people wouldn’t even know when an effect shot is being used. The costumes and makeup department had much more work to do on Temple. All they needed to do for Raiders and Last Crusade was to put them in German Tropical Afrika Korps uniforms. There was also more creativity needed for this movie, as the Nazis weren’t the bad guys. Such as the Club Obi Wan escape, rope bridge finale, mine car chase, jungle trek on elephants. Ultimately all the props, for example the Kali monuments, but most of all the huge sets; such as the Temple itself, Club Obi Wan, Pankot Palace, and the Indian village.

I'd have to say Last Crusade. It is more of a family film, and it is one i can watch over and over again and still enoy. It has comedy, action, and adventure. My second would have to be the first Indy. As for Temple of Doom, i just don't like it all too much. It is a good film, but itsn't my favorite.

Well the results so far are very even. It proves that the Indiana Jones trilogy is a complete success, as each movie appeals for a variety of reasons.

And I think Last Crusade is the most watchable, because it has humor, action, and adventure, like CMNeir said.
But they're all good.

It seems that this is a pretty close one, with Crusade just nudging ahead. It;s interesting that,as with me,the most watchable isn't necessarily the same as the favourite...

I think Last Crusade is most watchable and rewatchable because of Sean Connery
But Raiders is still my favorite.
