With three months to go, there must be a lot of work going on at the moment.

Anyone with any insider contacts know if they are definitely gearing up right now?

This guy (supershadow.com) claims to be a friend of George Lucas and Spielberg. I don't believe him, but he is rarely incorrect. He had all his Star Wars prequel info right about each movie long before they came out. I've been reading what he has to say since early 2000 before Attack of the Clones came out, and he had full and accurate descriptions of pretty much everything long before any trailers had come out or anything like that. I haven't read anything he's written on Indy IV yet though.

Steven Awalt from SpielbergFilms.com says he has heard from a reliable source that "official announcements should be forthcoming in the very near future." Those were his exact words.

Said it before, will say it again, this film is already in the can, and most of the work being done at this point is the post production 3-D work and details to incorporate the film with a revolutionary all encompassing BEAST (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Beast_%28game%29) type experience.

Indeed, he gives some 'hints' as to the plot in the link above, claiming he has seen the final script butisn't giving too much away out of respect to George and Steven...hhhhmmmmm obvious bullsh*t

His enthusiasm for the script is limitless tho, makes me wish it was the real thing...

So the short answer to the OP is no....

So the short answer to the OP is no....Ha, ha! Well, not exactly -- Steven Awalt's quote is very promising indeed, so thanks Dr. Sartorius & everyone else.

As for that Supershadow site -- what on earth? No offence to the person but surely that's in the realms of fantasy? What about those 'George Lucas interviews' -- here's an extract:

Hey GL, I love Star Wars, but I need to know: are you planning on keeping the original Luke Skywalker in Episodes 7 - 9? I have heard this about Harrison Ford, but not Luke.

George Lucas: Mark Hamill played the role of Luke Skywalker in the old films. Mark has already agreed to appear in the sequel trilogy when it happens. I expect all the original actors, who are still alive, will appear in the next trilogy.

Uh, huh?

The SuperShadow Indy IV info seems pretty bogus. What makes it seem even more bogus are those supposed Star Wars Episodes VII-IX script reviews. I hope he's making it up because it sounds like a retread of Raiders. I think we want something a little DIFFERENT.

"It's like something written by the fans"

Uh-oh... ;)

Super Shadow doesn't know ****. The STAR WARS community hates him.

He had all the prequels way wrong, then once everyone knew stuff (after a leaked script etc.) he went back and changed his info.

So the short answer to the OP is no....

Pretty much.

What he wrote was so vague anyway...he could have picked one of many movies with a similar story line. What does he get out of "revealing" script anyway?

guy is full of it. it's so vague and generic. I hope the movie isn't that formulaic....

Ok guys, we in Star Wars land know this guy well. He is a grade A hack form the northeast named Micky Suttle, who has no connection whatsoever to George Lucas.

The only time his stuff starts to resemble reality is when there are enough confirmed rumours floating on the web. When that happens he says Lucas has "approved him to release the final draft" and claims that all previous "scripts" are early drafts.

He's full of it, and he's been a huge joke in the Star Wars fan community for years.

Thanks Darth! Micky was vague but made a few gambles, which I guess he could attribute to an early draft. Not worth waiting a year to see him proved a liar.
