I know H Ford was on Inside the Actor's Studio, with famous kiss-ass James Lipton, but I've never seen that particular episode. It's apparently not on youtube.com. is it on DVD? When will it be re-run? Anyone know? If you've seen it, was it a good interview? Did he talk about Indy much?

I Dl'd it off eMule... it's o.k... It's easy to tell he didn't much want to be there sometimes... Some of his answers are obvious sarcasm....

Yeah, Lipton's about as far as you can get from an insightful interviewer. Wonder if Ford's ever been on Charlie Rose...

Thanks, whipple, for posting the link to the Charlie Rose interview. Good one!
At the start, Rose mentions that Harrison has already been on the show.
I wonder when?

EricSolo, I saw H.Ford on "Inside the Actor's Studio" a few years ago and,
although it was enjoyable to watch, there were not many memorable parts.
I don't recall any conversations about Indy in particular apart from the crowd
roaring at the mention of the name, Indiana Jones. However, it is worth seeing.

To me, J.Lipton is extremely annoying but I was surprised by his effective
deflection of ridicule when he, himself, was interviewed by "Ali G."

Have you seen Ali G. interviewing Andy Rooney? PRICELESS!

Thanks for the info.

I watched this when it first aired. I remember Lipton asking if he would play a certain carator again and Ford kept saying no.

The he asked the question that may have got the ball rolling on Indy 4.

"Would you ever play "Indiana Jones" again.

Ford answered "In a New York minute."

That new york minute turned into seven years, but who's counting? lol

The funny thing about the Lipton interview is Ford either played dumb or legitimately forgot Indiana's real name of Henry Jr., and where the name Indiana came from! He just stared at the ground during the question and then looked off into space with his famous puzzled look. When someone in the crowd yelled it out he began to wag his finger at Lipton as in "Yeah, that's it!". Then Lipton asked if an Indiana Jones 4 would happen, he immediately said yes, and then shrugged a bit as in "Really I don't know!" when the crowd erupted in cheers.

I saw the show a long time ago, but saw this clip recently after typing in Harrison Ford tribute on yahoo. The clip was on the Inside the Actor's Studio site.

Isn't that the truth? LOL But, who know this is when Lucas was working on SW movies. So Ford may have planted a seed and got the ball rolling.

As tons of other interview material, including some Charlie Rose appearances, it's located at the harrisonfordweb.com-"sights and vision" gallery, right here (http://www.harrisonfordweb.com/gallery1/soundvision.html).

If you do a simple CHARLIE ROSE HARRISON FORD search at google video you'll find at least two/three appearances of Ford on Charlie Rose.
