Presumably we'll be talking about the film itself for months, then it will resume back to the way things were a couple of years ago.

Even though the Fourth Installment hasn't all the time been the hottest topic around here during these past seven years I've spent on the board (and some have already even been ready to give up hope), we've never completely run out of topics, for reason or another. There's always something to keep people running, I believe.

Agreed. Sometimes people notice things in the old trilogy they didn't notice before and start a topic on it. There was a funny one there a while back about unintended homoeroticism in Raiders.

There is also a new comic series from Dark Horse coming out too.Obviously that will give us plenty to talk about.Can't forget about the new merchandise also...As long as us Indiana Jones fans hold the flame there will be plenty to talk about.

I wish the trailer would come out already... the suspense is killing me!!

As is school. I wish this semester was over already!

... But there's ALWAYS something to talk about. Even if it's not Indy related. The real question is how long will Indy in general hold people's interest to stick around here long after the fact of Indy 4.

I know what you mean, dearie. I've thought of the same thing. Even after the movie there will be collectables to talk about, not to mention the new line of Indy novels that are supposed to come out. Don't forget there are whole new generations to "indoctrinate" about Indy! Direct them here! The girl who checked me out at the grocery store the other day has never seen any of the films-- NOT ONE. I was just... shocked. She said she hasn't seen many "old movies." Why did that piss me off a little? Hm.

Anyhoo, we must convert the young ones to the Indy cause... mwwahahaha!
