Sean Connery's "autobiography" is due in August 2008

There was news of this a few years ago but Mr Connery pulled out of the project because it dug into his personal life too much. Now, it seems he's taking on the project again, with the understanding that its not going to be completely centered around him.

Connery will appear at the Edinburgh International Book Festival on August 25. Being A Scot is published on August 21.

Apparently it's mostly about Scotland's culture, people and history rather than about him :(

I am looking forward to Roger Moore's autobiography out in October tho. Should be a good read.
