Does anyone here have any? Anyone trying? Anyone pregnant? What are your thoughts on children? Do you ever want any?

I'm pretty much the kid in our home since I'm 15. But I hope to have a good family started someday. I'll have experience dealing with kids that's for sure. All my little cousins come over to our house all the time, before long I'll be goin insane if I don't get a break from'em lol

Judging by the overall reaction of people here to the possibility of Shia being Indy's son, one would think we hate children.

No, just punks, greasers, and ruffians.

My other half refuses to have children due to her illness and I more than anything wanted to be a father. Damn. Guess I'll have to settle for a cat.

Something to do with biology, don't ask. I skipped the class.

Don't listen to him about not being able to reproduce with a cat, herr gruber. Stranger things have happened.

You guys are so unfeeling. I suggest the Raven sets up a counselling forum.
Members can post in it and get advice which may finish them off!

I would definitely like to have kids one day. But I first must find a girl. I'm pretty sure that's the order you have to do those things in.

I have a seven year old and it's so much more than you can imagine. I remember when my wife was pregnant with him I was excited but kind of unsure of the whole thing. That changed the instant he was born. When the nurse took him away and I heard him scream, nature took over. He was mine, right there it hit me, "that's my boy, my Junior" and I had to make sure those damned nurses weren't hurting him. I ran over just to be next to him why he was being cleaned off. I cannot explain it. It's what we're here for, to create life and keep this ball rolling.

Now that he's 7 it’s only gotten better. I've introduced (my wife says indoctrinated) him to all the things I like, and now he loves Indy. The coolest thing is that his birthday is May 22. I got the teaser poster for him for Christmas and there on the bottom is May 22. He loves it.

Kids are great but you have to teach them everything, they are sponges that pick up all your good and bad habits. I've had to change a lot of what I do because I see how he reacts to me. In a way, he's helped make me a better person while I try to raise him with a sense of morals and respect. What ever you decide, thoroughly think it out and good luck with whatever you decide. It's a helluva ride.

Cats? not the right choice to raise a family, they are unfaithful

Your picture is set to private, so I can't see it.

I'm not sure how I feel about children. I always think that I want kids, and then I spend time with them, and then I decide that I no longer want them. I hope the cat I'm interested in is ok with not having kids. Cats can be so weird about those things.

I don't.

Anyone trying?
Hell no!

Anyone pregnant?
I haven't even lost my virginity yet.

What are your thoughts on children?
They can be cute but are time suckers. They poop, cry, use up all of your money, throw tantrums, and when they are older they are so ungreatful. They are so not worth it or so they seem.
Do you ever want any?
I am obsessed with everything to do with pregnancy and babies. But I don't really like kids so I don't think I will. But knowing me I will end up pushing one out someday.

I still have mine. You have to go through three tests to get to it. But there isn't an old knight protecting it. Any girl can get to it, especially if she looks like Elsa, Willie, or Marion. Or at least like they once looked...

Wow, this is a pretty wild thread.

Finn, you have never been one to make me laugh, but your post about procreating with a cat had me actually laughing out loud at my computer screen.

As for kids. I've had a few. They bring both joy and pain. When they are younger it is more joy, when they get older it is more pain.

Yeah and you'll be amazed how much you want to strangle those nurses. ;)

1-6yrs is good. 7 is where the money is, they become individuals, and that can be quire entertaining. The diapers not so much and if I ever smell formula again... I'll castrate myself.... well, maybe not, but that smell is fairly autrocious.

My wife and I have four, ranging in age from 5 to 12. And I agree with Tennessee that as babies they're cute, but not good for much else. When they get old enough to have ideas and talk about things, that's when they're interesting.

I have two little girls, my oldest is 2 years old and my youngest is 4 months old. They're a ton of work, it's really the hardest job in the world to have, being responsible for someone's life and well being. The hours are awful, literally 24-7, you don't get paid for it, you don't sleep much, and sometimes you are so drained you wonder how you can get through it all.

But it is also the most wonderful thing in the world. Hearing my 2 year old laugh is my favorite sound. Seeing my 4 month old smile is like the warmest ray of sunshine I've ever felt. I can't wait for them to get older and to take them to the movies, and watch Indy with them, or take them to Disney World.

I agree with you, Tennessee Smith, formula smells awful. I can't wait for myu 4 month old to be off this stuff. She has an allergic reaction to milk, so she is on a special formula, and it just stinks beyond belief.

I love kids. I work with them all year round and am studying to be a teacher. Do I want kids? Probably, but as No Ticket put it, first one must get a girl!
