Truck Stunt

This may be a stupid question, but is the truck stunt plausible in real life? Could someone survive doing what Indy did in Raiders?

It probably depends on both the ground your dragging on and how fast your going. I know that they really did a lot of the stuff in that scene. I think they were going slower than it looks like in the film, and they had a trench dug in the ground so that the stuntman didn't hit his chin on the bottom of the truck. I would say that this stunt is plausibly survivable. I wouldn't try it unless my neck was on the line though. :)
