Raiders was on UK TV over the weekend and I managed to catch the 2nd half of it and I saw somethign I hadnt noticed before:

I'm not at home right now so cant check my DVDs to see if it was all the red wine I had consumed or if it was really there, but when Indy and Marrion emerge from the block wall as they escape the well of souls, I thought I saw someone (an Arab?) collapsed in a heap to the left of the wall.

I'm dieing to get home and check for myself but has anyone else seen this? If I'm right, any ideas why this guy is knocked out? Was it a deleted scene where Indy pushes the block out and it falls on his head or something?

I always thought it was funny that the 'back door' entrance to the Well of the Souls was so close to the German camp; right under their noses.

Yeah, true, but thinking about it, it was an Anti-Chamber that Indy had to smash a huge statue through to get to, and looking at the wall (ie, dry blocks with no mortar that indy was able to push out) I assume it had already been explored and found to contain nothing more than dried up corpses so the search for the well of souls continued. (That coupled with the fact they the Nazis thought they knew the exact location of the Ark thanks to Marrion's pendant) if it wasnt where the ark was supposed to be, why waste time digging for Archeology when there's a 2000 year old WMD to be found! :D

I would've actually liked to have seen the extra scenes with Sallah, such as him spilling water on those guys and almost being executed by that young soldier.

I also never knew until now the reason why those guys made Sallah come down the hill. I always interpreted it as him not supposed to be up there.
