Marion as an adult version of Peppermint Patty

I don't know why but after watching Raiders several times Marion seems to remind me of Peanuts' Pepperment Patty especially since both are 100% tomboys and both kind of have the same voice and they always try outdo the male in their life (Charlie Brown and Indy) to a point where they can be better than them. Also they almost look alike:
