Top 10 Indiana Jones action moments on IGN

IGN has a list of the their top 10 action moments in the first three movies here. http://movies.ign.com/articles/873/873226p1.html I would have put the tank chase at the top of the list :)

The only counted the fight on the tank in Crusade, but they counted the entire chase in Raiders.

I'd at least put Indy's fight with the Thuggee guard on the rock crusher in Temple on the list, and the mine cart sequence over the Last Crusade tank fight.

Overall, I agree with what's on the list, but personally not in that order. It's hard to not agree with the truck chase from Raiders being number one, but I'd argue that the scene where Indy shoots the swordsman as being a "moment" rather than an "action scene."

I also didn't know Dietrich's Mercedes (not Belloq's) counted as a "truck."

This list is garbage!! They obviously just picked what the masses wanted to hear. Ugh.

The only moment in LC that should appear in that list is the Tank one...and not the Tank Fight...but the Tank chase part. The Tank fight is horrendous and far too slapstick. :sick:

Best action moments IMO:

1. Truck Chase and fight in Raiders. Best action stunts in movie history. :hat:

2. Temple of Doom fights the big thugee and swings all around the place the escape the other minions with Indy finally holding onto the cord to swing into the mine cart. That is sooooo cool...its something that always gives me the shivers and a big smile everytime I see it. :up: :up:

3. Raiders opening with traps and escape from the boulder and escape from natives.

4. Airplane fight with big guy in Raiders.

5. Fight in Marion's bar in Raiders.

6. Rope bridge scene in TOD.

7. Mine car chase in TOD.

8. Tank chase (only the chase) in LC.

9. Escape from Club Obi-Wan in TOD.

10. Tie between basket chase with Indy shooting swordsman and escape from crashing plane in TOD.

I dont know why people say there is more decent action in LC....its all slapstick.

Edit: Forgot to include the spike room in TOD. That should definately fit in there somewhere. :)

I thought the only slapstick moments in the tank fight were when Indy shot through three guys with one bullet, and when Marcus gets knocked off the tank. Surely Henry on the treads about to be crushed doesn't count as slapstick.
