I checked out those Star Wars: Clone War cartoons and they're pretty good and they serve to fill in gaps between the movies. Would an Indy animated series like this work? Would you watch an animated series which would take place between TLC and KotCS? Or KotCS and the possible Indy V?
I'd watch it only if George Lucas and Harrison Ford were involved.

It'd be cool if it were like the headers at TR.n :)

yeh, i'll watch it too But i won't if there is some artifact or mummy coming to life and becomes Indy's sidekick.... that does happen in animated films/cartoons

Whatever, it still is Indiana Jones.. i'll watch it anyway, with or without stupid mummy sidekick

I'd watch it if the style was good.

I’m all for a Indiana Jones animated show. I’d hope that it would air on the Disney Channel or Cartoon Network and get re-airs on History Channel, ABC Family and Disney’s Jetix.

Hopefully it’d be set imeediatly after the events in Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and it would continue to have the Crystal Skulls and aliens play a key part in certain episodes as I find them to be fascinating. :D

As far as animation and art style goes I’d hope it would be like that of the box art on the Mighty Muggs Indiana Jones toys which can be viewed at the links below or maybe like that of Hi-Hi Puffy Ami-Yumi or even better the new show Transformers Animated program on Toonami. I’ve included links to the Mighty Muggs box art.

If Indiana Jones does get his own animated television series, lets us hope Genndy Tartakovsky, Duane Capizzi and Sam Register can helm and create the Indiana Jones animated series. They’re the best choice in my personal opinion because they’ve created so many successful family friendly animated shows lately which include The Batman, Transformers Animated, Hi-Hi Puffy Ami-Yumi and The Adventures of Jackie Chan.

I’ve also read on various sites that Lucas has actually show interest and talked of creating a animated Indiana Jones show. It seems natural after seeing the success of Clone Wars in 2003. I sure  hope this new cgi cartoon The Clone Wars will be as good the first one and not all messed up with trashy content.

You know I would!

I'm such a slut for all things Indy. Movies, books, games, merchandise; and I'm even into the YIJC now. Sure, it helps that quality is generally consistent, but really... slap the Indiana Jones logo on it and I'll eat it up.

The only thing that could make it unappealing to me would be if it were done in the same style as the SW: Clone Wars cartoon.

Definitley, but only if lucas is involved. He probably would ot considering he is involved with the new star wars animated tv series.

Only if George and Lucas are part of it. But as mentioned above, if it has an IJ label on it I instantly fall in love with it...

I'm even in the process of buying the Young IJ Series, even though I was skeptical at first.

:hat:
