Need some help and figure you guys are probably the best ones to help here.

Been trying to do some screen caps from the Indy DVD's and I don't seem to be having much success.

Been using the print screen button and pasting them into paint, but it doesn't seem to matter what I save them as (what format I mean) I just end up with a black screen, and I cant cut and paste from the caps either. I just seem to end up saving black squares.

Not sure if there is a trick that I don't know (Yet!!!) or a program that will do this for me, but it's really annoying me, as I want to make some wallpapers from all the movies and can't find the pics I want on the net, so I thought I'd just get my own.

thanks in advance

What dvd program do you use? I have PowerDVD and when I press C it saves the current frame and lets you paste it into your photo program.

Just use the VLC media player (http://www.videolan.org/)
play your dvd with it and under "video" you will find the button to make sreenshots

Thanks for that people. I have been using the VLC Player as my Windows Media player has cracked it with me for some reason. Didn't know it had a utility for making screen caps.

I want some pics from the temple scene in TOD for a wallpaper, and cant' find the ones I want on the net
