What do you think a modern Indiana Jones would look like. What I mean is, what would he look like if he had been born in, lets say, the 1960s and was alive in his forties today? Would he still have the fedora and leather jacket? Or would he try a more modern look, maybe a baseball cap in place of the fedora. What do you think?

I was actually thinking about this a few days ago. My buddy and I want to make an Indy fan film and I brought up the idea of a modern Indy. But then I realized that's not Indy at all. It severely takes away from the character. The time period is really a big part of who Indy is. I guess Nicolas Cage's character from National Treasure would fit the bill as a "modern Indy", but Cage's character is forgettable.

I am planning to be an archaeologist and I am going to were my fedora out on excavations. So, I think Indy would lose the jacket, the bullwhip, and the gun, but keep everything else. Accually, he might keep the gun. He never seems to get out of trouble no matter what time period he's in.:p

I disagree, he'd keep the leather jacket, shirt and pants, since those are basically "timeless" clothes, but I'm not sure about the fedora.
