Apparently George is at it again. Here's the newest version of the Greedo scene, set to be in the next DVD re-release.

I never understood why the whole "who shot first" retcons were such a big deal.
When I saw the rerelease in theaters I didn't even notice the change until my brother started complaining about it. I believe my response was, "who cares? lol"
Greedo was going to kill him either way, and Han knew it.

The big deal is that by shooting first, Han was set up as a bad-ass who knew how to get out of whatever mix he got into. But when Greedo shot first, Han was reduced into a normal guy with an instinct for self-defence.

Both videos are funny. My only problem with the first one is that Greedo's dialogue should have been refined a little bit more, to make the conversation flow more logically. Still, I like the general idea behind it--Greedo being a nice guy who Han kills for no reason. Good job.

Um Who cares? I met Paul Blake (Greedo) at Star Wars Celebration 4 and when I was in line to get his autograph some guy asked him who shot first!!! He replied " Who cares" He was a pretty cool guy though also met Jango Fett,Jabba the Hutt and Chewbacca.

Here's my version of the Greedo shooting (at the end of this video) I played Obi Wan in this:
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=qyLH1PBoWvQ
I met Paul "Greedo" Blake at a convention in Chicago and at CIV. Really nice guy. He once appeared in a stage play with Sir Alec Guiness a few years before Star Wars. I asked what Harrison Ford was like. He said "He was really a sweet guy."
Paul Blake was actually ONE of the TWO people who played Greedo. Paul was in all the shots in which Harrison appears. The shots where Greedo's mouth is moving were shot later with a woman actress in hollywood. Man, do I sound like a Star Wars geek or what?

No it does not Star Wars is great for action and stuff but Star Trek surpasses Star Wars in intellect which is why I like it more.
Plus Kirk could own any Jedi in the galaxy.............. and he won't set for stun

What does God need with a starship?
...I don't know. Sometimes I feel like Trek tries too hard to be intelligent. Like how they came up with an "explanation" for how Klingons have weird foreheads even though they looked more normal in the original series. Why come up with convoluted garbage like that? Just admit that it's because you had no budget and move on! The audience has an imagination too, you know.
