Crash of Flight 3407 - Feeling sad in Buffalo...

By now, many of you have probably heard the news of the crash of Conintental flight 3407 in Clarence Center, about 15 minutes from Buffalo, New York. The crash happened yesterday (Thursday) around 10:15-10:30PM. I couldn't believe it when I read about it on the internet and saw the videos. People in my church know some of the 50 people that were killed in the crash. It seems everyone knows someone who died or has some connection to them. In spite of being a large city, we Buffalonians are known for being kind, generous and close-knit in our communities. We are just in shock and numb over this tradgedy. Please send prayers and comforting thoughts to the hundreds of people who are being affected by this, including myself. Thanks.

Indyologist, I'm very sorry to hear about the recent tragidy in your town.

When I heard the news, I instantly thought of you as I know you are from the area.

I was born in Buffalo, and even thouhg I haven't lived there since I was very, very young, I was shocked when I saw the news. My thoughts are with all of you.

A widow of the 9/11 terror attacks was among those killed in the New York state plane crash, relatives have said.

Beverly Eckert was flying to Buffalo to celebrate what would have been her husband Sean Rooney's 58th birthday when Continental flight 3407 came down.
