Flawed flawed list(as expected)...but an inspired #1 choice(ignoring the laughable year error).

Best movie of the 80's huh? I'll take it! I still think Raiders is the greatest movie ever, but so be it...

Ridiculous to even begin to try and rank something as broad as films in the 80s.

Well, they did get the top one right though. ;)

"Raiders" was awesome, but I don't think it was the best film of the 1980's
(1980 - 1989).

Hard to say which one was, but "Empire Strikes Back" (1980) is definitely up there.

I'd go for The Shining or The Empire Strikes Back - but that's just me being right.

I also think Raiders, was by far the best of the series, and one of the top films of the eighties.

It's a pretty good list.

(someone please delete the other thread I started).

I was bummed that The Last Crusade didn't make the 90's list, though.

Interesting to see that Ford was in three of the top four movies, including #1 and #2. I was, however, disappointed that Witness didn't make it on this list.

Yeah, but it's a 1989 film.

This "list" is just one guy's favorite films.

Yeah, but it's a 1989 film.

D'oh, I always forget that was the end of the year. I think May in the states, though?

For some reason I always think early 1990.

I'm still like -- Where's Heathers?

And where's PaleHorse challenging Die Hard's ranking (and beat by Breakfast Club no less).

And it's always nice to see David Lynch getting some love.
