First of all: I didnt know where to post this kind of stuff (either here or in the Fanwork forum), so Mods: please move it like you want it to have.

I created very quickly a re-edited version of the scene in LC, when Donovans henchmen are "asking" Indy to come with them. I know it is not perfect ;) But I just wanted to get a feeling for how this scene was thought to be.

While this is well-edited, I think the implication that Indy was taken at gun point (as implied in the comic, I believe) is dumb.

There's no reason to believe that's what happened, Donovan (at that point in the story, anyway), was just a wealthy philanthropist who was trying to hire Indy for a job - and to tell him about his father's disappearance.

No reason to draw a gun and "kidnap" indy at all.

Agreed. If the movie leads us to believe that Indy is forced at gunpoint, then Donovan is shown to be the antagonist too early, and thus spoils the Brunwald castle reveal.
