...and it might be something previously discussed on this board. If so, forgive me, I'm kinda new. BUT...
What would you guys think if they got a different actor to play Indiana Jones?
Here's the thing: that rumor of a Mutt Williams spin-off...it's not that I didn't enjoy the character, but I can't see myself going to a film based on that.
Harrison is getting pretty old - I'm okay with that, I'm simply assuming that he may not care to make too many more action adventure films.
I'd rather see someone else take over the mantle and continue the adventures set in the 30s. I mean everyone thought Connery leaving Bond would be the end - and now, how many Bonds later - we have Craig playing what many are calling "the Best Bond Ever."
And what about Batman? There's been a number of them, culminating with Bale who imho is the best!
I am not even suggesting someone would ever be a better Indy than Harrison, only that another actor could portray the character convincingly. And I'd rather see another INDIANA JONES than a "Son of" spinoff!
Just curious if anyone else shares this view! :D
