The indy villains have the best deaths in movies
In Raiders they either get shot at by heat rays from the Ark or they get their faces melted or exploded.
In Temple Mola Ram becomes crocodile food
And in Crusade Donovan turns to dust
When Elsa falls to her death in Last Crusade it always reminds me of Superman the Movie with all those Kryptonians fallng to their deaths
What are your thoughts
By the way im going to Majorca for 2 weeks so i wont be posting for a while.

Villians are supose to die, that's their job, that and being evil. *Makes like Dr. Evil and runs away*

If the villians didn't die in a such imaginitive way it wouldn't be as fun and it would make the movies seem more violent.
It is always Supernatural forces that kill the baddies, Indy never usually lays a finger on them.
Just look at the resiliance of the Mechanic in Raiders and think how long it would take Indy to take out a villian, the fight with Vogel could have carried on indefinately.

I thought the Raiders of the Lost Ark death was the most supernatural, and even I could think of a better way for Mola Rom to die in Temple of Doom . That villain death scene in ToD was the least creative and the least imaginative.

I agree with Bob that Indy didn't really defeat any of the villains in the movies. The villains got themselves killed because of their stupidity/greed. My fave death scene would be Elsa's fall, because she was so close to touching it, it was like the grail was teasing her by being just an inch out of reach. Plus, since she's my fave villain I have a lil thing called a bias :D. 2nd best death would have to be Raiders, just because it was the most deadly assault.

Baddies and villains should always meet with dramatic ends in films in my opinion. Just look at the Bond films - Kananga being a great example in Live & Let Die!
I liked it when Elsa fell down the chasm. She deserved it.
I prefer Donovan's death - turning into Jimmy Saville is always a classic way to go!!!

I liked Mel's death scene in Braveheart.

And what about Vogel? Get a "hold" of his death, falling off a cliff on a tank. That's amazing.
Raiders is the best and funniest...I can't stop smiling/laughing when the melt/get shot by light/explode/cave-in/get torched.
