Where did Harrison Ford go to College? Did he drop out of college? I thought I heard that he went to college in Ripon, which is a city in the state of Wisconsin where I live but wasnt sure and wanted to know if anybody could clear that up.

Ford went to high school in Maine Township High in Park Ridge, Illinios. After high school he attended Ripon College in Wisconsin.

Your right! He did drop out of college to pursue a career in a dead end job called acting! :D :D

Grew up in Des Plaines, IL and went to Maine East Township High School where he was picked on by bullies (or so he once said though I still have a hard time believing it). Went to Ripon College, but I don't think he graduated.

He did a little bit of acting for school plays and stuff.
Then took up carpentry then acting again.

Azn's right. Harry did some minor acting work after he left college then moved to Hollywood and appeared on bit parts on tv shows.

When he began to think he's career wouldn't lead anywhere he turned to carpentry....but still acted part of the time.

It took several years before he would land the roles of Han Solo and Indiana Jones!

If I recall the reason why Ford got the role of Solo was because he was working on the set when they were doing try outs for the role...or maybe that was American Graffiti.
Anyway, it was his work as a carpenter that allowed him to meet Lucas and become one of the most popular actors of all time.

Yeah, I heard something about him fixing a door at the studios where they were doing screen tests for Star Wars and they needed an extra guy so they had even groups... Or something...
Basically he didn't apply for the auditions like everyone else, he just happened to be in the right place at the right time. With a hammer. :p

Harrison on this clip did once say that he "can't do math".

My sympathies..math stinks.
