I'm thinking about writing an essay for theraider.net, and one of my ideas is an essay about the most important things in Indy's life - people, adventures, artifacts, places, etc.

Some examples:

-Henry Sr.
-Marcus
-The Cross of Coronado
-Belloq
-Remy
-Anna Jones
-Indiana (the dog)
-Mrs. Seymour
-His First Archaeological Dig with Howard Carter and Lawrence of Arabia
-Sallah
-Being in WWI as a soldier and a spy
-the University of Chicago
-Jack Shannon
-The Fedora
-Fedora (from the beginning of Crusade)
-The whip
-The jacket
-Barnett College
-Lao Che
-Wu Han
-Abner Ravenwood

I may or may not use all of these (or even this essay idea), but they are ideas. If you have suggestions, please give a brief suggestion as to why you think a particular element of Indy's life should be included. I would also appreciate some comments on what I already have on this list.

Thanks.

-Marion Ravenwood. No explanation needed (except for the fact she was the love of his life...ackk! Eewww...). :D

If I were you I would keep it not too precise and dogmatic. As we all like to create our own Indy and imagine what made him, and for me there must have been something that happened to Indy to make him into the Classic Indy over just 13 or so years....

Again...my early days. I'd enjoy this little trip down memory lane, except it's really not all that enjoyable.

Sorry, Canyon, no essay...wouldn't really be much an essay anyhow. You're entitled to try your hand at it though, if you wish.

Indys Mom

What is a man without a woman? You have to include the women in Indy's life.

Thanks, but as I said, there shall be no essay, as its really not something I want to spend my time on. Still, I appreciate the advice. And welcome to the Raven.
