Thugee Slave Guard vs. German Mechanic

Who do you think was Indy's toughest adversary: The German Mechanic who was killed by a plane's propeller or The Thugee Slave Guard who was killed by a steamroller?
Who would win if they both were up against eachother?

weren't they the same person? The german mechanic would win. The thuggee slave guard needed help to defeat Indy with the voodoo doll. Based on this, the german mechanic never fell once when Indy was punching him, so the german mechanic would hold his own against the Thuggee guard.

They'd cancel each other out, as both were played by the same British actor: Pat Roach.

He also played the big Nepalese thug in the Raven fight.

And he also played the Gestapo man running up to the zeppelin with Vogel, but that role is pretty unimportant.

Well, according to the Indy's Gamble card game over at Indiana Jones Chronicles, the Thuggee Slave Guard is more powerful, but I believe he has fewer defensive points, which is how it works out in the films as well I'd say.

I think we can all agree that either of them could beat Kazim or Vogel though (their closest counterparts in LC - after all, the Kazim fight in Monkey King ended with the Nazi [whom Kazim replaced] being drawn into the propeller by his shoelaces, which were untied, continuing the pattern of the big dumb villain played by Pat Roach being killed by a rotating piece of machinery).

both him and the gaurd were good, but it looked like indy was beating the gaurd EASILY, the voodoo doll was the only reason he had so much trouble

The Thuggee guard looked more evil, but I reckon the mechanic could take him. The guard has more clothing to grab hold of, so would be easier to throw around. They're both kinda thick though, so if there was any moving machinery around it could go either way...

I think that he would of been stronger in Raiders becasue he has that extra experience and is still at his physical peak beeing at his late 30's. Plus the Krout geezer gave him more of a run for his money then the other geezer.

Thugee guy was'nt controlled by the sleep, was he? He didn't seem like it. The Thugee guy was beaten easier, but he did seem like a monster with no rules, unlike the boxer.

I think I'll go with the German Mechanic.

mechanic. the other guy was only winning cause indy was getting pinned by the voodoo doll. i think the mechanic would run rings around the thuggee. hes a trained boxer...thuggee beats up on little kids with a whip. real tough.
