This will, actually, be my first topic I've started here at the Raven, aside from my Indy Brickfilm post.

So, Who is Indy's Favorite Girl?

I mean, I guess this could get biased, I'm voting for Marion cause I like Marion, (Lol, any girl that locks herself in a plane that is about to blow up and expects Somebody to save her just Cracks Me Up. )

But who do you guys think Indy's favorite girl is?

(Sophia and Mei Ying are allowed, too)

I thought this Might make for an interesting discussion.

I'll go with Marion - after all, Indy deflowered her and he knew her father. Plus, she is damn good with her fists and really hates snakes. Nobody else comes close!

Deidre, hands down. I couldn't stand her, but she was his wife, and the only woman he ever really loved.

From the three girls of the trilogy I think he enjoys a lot Marion's company, she is like him, loves danger.
Willy, she is afraid of everything, but at the end she never left Indy in his demands so she was a good partner too!
Elsa...I think he liked her too.
Conclusion: he 'falls in love' with them, but maybe Indy's favorite girl goes to Marion...

BUT OH, well since you are supposed to pick from the girls mentioned above, I guess I would say...

I dunno.?? This is a tough call. But, in my opinion, I think Indy (and Harrison) had the best screen chemistry with Marion (Karen).

Gotta copy that. Though that's where we get into discussion who counts the novels as part of the true Indiana Jones universe and who doesn't... I do, some, some I don't.

hey, sophia is a game chick, marion is a movie chick.

plus, karen allen is cool and hilarious. shes even an animal house alumni, how cool is that? she worked with john belushi (joliet jake blues/bluto) and tom hulce (wolfgang "amadeus" mozart/pinto) too! thats just coolness. i love all 3 of the actors.

marion rocks. i especially love where shes climing all over indy in the well of the souls, and of course talking about their baby (the monkey)...lol. "hes even got your looks." "and your brains." "i know, shes a smart little thing."

I just hope to God that Indy and Marion get together & are married in the next film. I can't think of anyone else who would be good for Indy and if it turns out to be some other woman, I'm going to be VERY upset!! :mad:

In three words, Marion sickens me. My personal opinion is that they should avoid bringing back Marion or Willie in the fourth film and use someone new (not necessarily someone young).

no offense, but if you watch raiders youll see that marion doesnt have her nightie on in the morning they wake up on the boat. indy obviously was joking with marion about falling asleep, because marion sure grinned pretty wide when she was pulling her nightie down off the shelf. honestly it suggests more than indy just took a snooze. explain marion without her nightgown.
