Hey, take a look at this extract from a very old rumor published on http://www.harrisonfordweb.com:
"Indy 4 is slated to begin production in the Summer of 2050"
NOW WE GOT THE DATE! 2050!
I should be 74 by then...gee, I think I'll be able to handle a drive to a near thater ;-)
I've got the title: "Indiana Jones And The Quest For Immortality", starring -of course- Harrison Ford, aged 108.
Jokes apart, we're really getting tired of these rumors: Stevie, George and Harry should really get moving!
PAPARAPPPAAAAAAAAPAPARAAAAAAAAA!

I always thought "Indiana Jones and the Retirement Home of Doom" had a nice ring to it.
"Oh, yeah? Well back in my day, (cough cough) I found the ARK OF THE COVENANT all the while Nazis were (cough cough) trying to kill me! Of course the government took the Ark away from me and told me to keep quiet..." "Yeah, sure..."

I think I would call it
Raiders of the lost prescription
or
Indiana Jones and the sponge bath of doom
or
Indiana Jones and the Secret of the Metamucil
...or something like that. :D

Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Dentures
Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Glasses
Indiana Jones and the Scalpel of Gloom
Indiana Jones and the Kidney Stones (Sankara Stones..get it?)
Indiana Jones and the Last Dixi Cup
Indiana Jones and the Last Blue Suede (shoes)
Ok some of these are funny, but I tried my hardest...well maybe not my hardest.

Here's some more:
Indiana Jones and the Cold-Fingered Doctor
Indiana Jones and the secret of the bedpan (stuff goes in, but no one ever knows where it goes)
Indiana Jones and the Cataracts of Doom
Indiana Jones and the Liver-Spot Crusade
Indiana Jones and the Struggle for Bowel Control
Indiana Jones and the Hernia of Torture
Or you could do some James bond- type titles
The Man With The Rubber Glove (man with the golden gun)
Coldfinger (goldfinger)
HazyEye (goldeneye)
From Retirement with love (from russia with love)
You repeat yourself twice (you only live twice)
I'll think of some more later! :D

But James Bond seems to be getting younger rather than older...

Indiana Jones has retired his trusty leather bullwhip and revolver. In their stead he is using his trusty wooden cane, useful for rapping young whippersnappers and Nazis on the head. The cane can also aid Indy in such perilous tasks as walking, where one misstep can send Indy tumbling (think of the 2nd booby trap in LC). And finally, when Indy's sight fails, he can always rely on his trusty cane to tap his way around.

But it was rather funny!! :D

Who's making fun of Ford? We are making fun of Old Indy...someone totally seperate from Middle Age Indy (HF's character)
Col. Musgrove

I thought we were making fun of how long it's taking with Indy 4.
I think there should be a scene where Indy's doctor reveals himself as Lao Che and switches the bag on Indy's IV rack with a bag of poison. Let's see how Indy gets out of that one.

(gasping for breath between laughs) We could practically write our own old Indy IV! So many possibilities!

Aaron: I know but he is Indy, and it's not his fault that the he changed his mind playing Indiana Jones again...um...then again...nevermind!
Col.: Ooh! Interesting! ;)
Martin: For real!!

If this project doesn't evolve soon, Indy 4 willl have to be set in a retirement village or a nursing home - the climax being a chase scene involving walkers and wheel chairs.
From the "Harrison Ford Web MB" ;)

Colonel is right. We're just tired by all these annoying rumors. Rumors monitoring is funny, but sometimes you start to need something official, by jove! ;-)

I can just see Indy leaning over his bed and grabbing a scalpel, throwing it through the chest of the nurse (who is actually one of Lao Che's other sons), and then diving for the antidote, which gets lost amidst all of the natural waste products from all the other patients, then hiding from gunfire behind a giant rolling bedpan as he leaps out of the hospital window...
Indiana Jones and the Infernal Listening Device
Indiana Jones and the Fate of Bad Nurses
Indiana Jones and his Bedtime Adventures

Or, weŽll get Indy lost too near of golf course and running away for incoming ball...
---
" "Junior", I didnŽt know you can push a wheelchair..."
"Push, yes. Stop, no."
---
"What are you going to do?"
"I donŽt know, maybe I remember it as I go..."

"Nothing shocks me. IŽm senile."

"What was that for?"
"To ease the pain, Dr. Jones..."

"Good night...Dr. Jones." Said the nurse.
But unbeknown to Indy is that the nurse really was a daughter of Belloq! Slowly she injected the steroid into his IV, then everything went black...
You are right this was a good funny thread but it is time to put aside, and move on to bigger and better topics.
Good night

As pitiful as this may seem for anyone who doesn't know the source material (a song from the stage version of Fiddler on the Roof), I feel somehow compelled to repost it on this thread, where it is more appropriate.
The Rumor, by Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick - new "Indy IV" lyrics by Attila the Professor
Aaron H:
Ren, I have such news for you!
Remember Lucas, that crazy movie maker?
Remember in Last Crusade
When Walter shot down Henry
And Indy started drinking
from a cup very plain?
Well, I just heard
that Indy is immortal in Indy IV.
Raveners:
NO!
Aaron H:
YES!
Renderking:
Kevin, Kevin, wait till I tell you
Remember Lucas, that crazy moviemaker?
Remember in Raiders?
The Nazis, they all melted
Well, I just heard,
that they will be immortal, in Indy IV.
Raveners:
No. Terrible, terrible.
00Kevin:
Bob...
Do you remember Lucas, that director,
from San Fran? Remember how he acted,
when Temple was released?
Well, I just heard
that Short Round going to die.
Raveners:
NO!
Apalehorse:
In Indy VII!
bob:
Finn...Finn...
Remember Spielberg,
with all his strange ideas?
Remember Emperor's Tomb?
Where Indy went to Hong Kong?
Well, I just heard
that that's what he will do
when Ford is in Indy IV.
Raveners:
NO!
bob:
Ameera forbid!
Raveners:
They won't!
bob:
They will!
Attila:
Terrible news...terrible...
Remember Spielberg
who directed all the films?
Well I just heard
that in Indy IV
that Indy's been arrested
and Sallah's gone to Eden
Short Round studies evil
and Calista's acting badly
Henry has the black plague
and Wu Han is alive.
Aaron H:
And that's what comes from making a fourth film!
00Kevin
