View Full Version : New James Bond Game "Everything or Nothing" influenced by ET

From Commander Bond .Net (http://www.commanderbond.net)
"Over the top" hand-to-hand combat. This'll be the first Bond game to concentrate on hand-to-hand combat, and the third person perspective gives the ideal oppurtunity to harness this. You'll also be able to pick up bottles, wooden boards, chairs and other enviromental objects laying around you and then use them in combat. This does all sounds very similar to the recent Indiana Jones game, which featured this sort of combat which leads me to believe, Everything or Nothing will be using the same game engine.

good to see that Indy stuff is starting to take notice and that ET is recogized, seems the same engine may be used, cool eh?
Odd, because ET truly wasn't a blockbuster. Well, let's hope they'll have a good game. Nightfire weren't all that good... but good for Collective, I think, especially if the game uses the same engine.

I must agree, Nightfire sucked. I beat the whole thing in agent mode in one day, what a rip off.
A new Bond Game? Sounds excellent! I loved Agent Under Fire, hope they can do better with this one.

Yes! This is awesome. This might be the 00game, the one to rival Goldeneye. I am a huge 007 fan, can't wait. But there still has to be a focus on guns, what's James Bond without a gun?

Yeah, that's what I'm waiting for... a MacGyver game! Think about it, it's the only case in which the "adventure game logic" would make perfect sense (use knife on duct tape, use duct tape with bamboo, use old cement mixer motor with bamboo/duct tape contraption and presto! You have a motorized hang-glider!) Just add the Collective's fist-fighting engine, and you've got a really cool game that remains true to the spirit of the show.

Which one? Simpsons or MacGyver? Or both?:p
Nothing will ever beat Goldeneye...
Heres a dumb question, but which system is it coming out for? Xbox?

got a VERY cool interactive video for you
there are 2 parts in the video when you choose what you want to see bond to do, each part has three choices, they are similat results both times:
-fight with gun
-fight with hands
-don't really fight, just skip through them for the most part
smashing video, check it out!
I've not played the ET game, but I think ET relied more on fists.....we'll see
there's a :D surprise at the end :D

Yeah, the game looks good. I hated Nightfire a lot, but agent under fire was ok, although I'd like it a lot more if I had an xbox, since those JERKS at EA decided to put AI bots in multiplayer only AFTER releasing it on PS2. So Jaws is back, eh? I thought he was good, ever since moonraker. oh! I know what happened! Bond was having an affair with Jaw's girlfriend, hahaha, and that's why Jaw's is now a crazy pshyco again!

actually, there is good reason to beleive that this one will take place in the 60's (or at least in the past)

If anyone is going to base another game on the same engine as IJ&ET, I HOPE it's a vastly 'new and greatly improved' one. While certain aspects of ET are really good, I've simply had too many struggles with the controls and camera-view problems to really enjoy it.
AND, I hope they add ingame saves to it.

I've just watched at EoN-Trailers and said "Great, very fater games!! I like it so very much..."
what did you think this difficult games, if Bond spring into the build out, but I think isn't easy games!!!! *fire,boom,shot,etc...*

best of all:
a hugh advance of ET:
actual actors will feature their voice talents, likeness and cyberscan for the game!!!!!!
Pierce Brosnan...James Bond
Shannon Elizabeth...Serena St. Germaine
Nikolai Diavolo...Willem Dafoe
Richard Kiel...Jaws
Heidi Klum...Katya Nadanova
John Cleese...Q
Dame Judi Dench...M
That's right! No more bond voices that sound nothing like PB, no more terrible said...off....out of pitch lines!
If things go as we hope.......this will be the BEST bond games since GE...perhaps even bigger
sorry.........well, now that we see this new concept of actors in games, do you think they could do this for an Indy Game? I doubt it, but still..........
Dr. HenryJones.jr

Whoooaa, 00Kevin! I knew all the stars, this version is only from US. Damn, I want to like hearing who his voice *§$%§$ german version....*
Kev... don't make me lock this thread. This board is for Indy, not 007, games.

please note that my last post DID ask a question about indy.......if indy could take something from this bond game.........justified ;)

Oh, now that I'm posting he'll lock it, hahaha. Ah, 00Kevin, you say there's a good reason it'll take place in the past? Well I did see the train with the Soviet star, so may be.....
00Kevin
06-30-2003, 11:16 AM
yes, that too, also, an article did say:
It was 1962. The Cold War was in full swing. People weren’t doing ‘duck and cover’ drills much any more – not because the threat of nuclear war had abated, but because people had finally realized that no amount of hiding under schoolroom furniture was going to save them from a multimegaton air burst.
and a USSR flag is in the BG of a trailor....so I think it will take place in 62 (same year Dr. No came out ;))

Hmm, that's very interesting, but they should've modeled Bond after Connery then, for this game.
00Kevin
06-30-2003, 04:17 PM
I agree.....but I also disagree
this game is aimed at kids and teens who have little, or no, knowledge of the old bond films
what is a 12 year old gamer ganna notice:
a game with their favorite action Star, Pierce Brosnan, on the cover?
or a game with some guy he's never seen in his life
they've jumped around with the image enough, no need for another change
boy, am I glad we indy fans don't have to worry about it
Kumba
06-30-2003, 05:27 PM
Yeah, it sure whould be terrible if LEONARDO DICAPRIO were to play Indy, and make all young kids think that the original Indy was played by DiCaprio. :)
00Kevin
06-30-2003, 06:15 PM
yes, but still
just because everyone else said that doesn't mean you have to

WEll what did you expect? Of course I'm going to say that! You should've saw it coming a mile ago!
Oh, and for the rest of the world, "you should've saw that coming a kilometer ago!"
