How about "High Road To China" starring Tom Selleck and Bess Armstrong."The Adventures of Jake Speed",and many other low budget films ofthe 80s. "The Phantom"
"The Shadow","The Golden Child","StarGate",and on television
there was "Tales Of The Golden Monkey","Bring 'Em Back alive",and "MacGyver".

Golden Child, is that with Eddie Murphy? You made me remember another one, Big Trouble in Little China. Both very similiar, and Kurt Russell is fun to watch.

Stargate is good, a little slow moving, but good still, I prefer the tv series. I like the Shadow too,(we're talking about the one with Alec Baldwin, right?).

The Phantom was good, Catherine Zeta Jones was hot in that one.;):)

Now theres a memory

high road to china was quit good - tomb raider was just rubbish.

Stargate cool but way better than the tv series.

The Crocodile Dundee movies. Not in the same era, but same entertainment value.

Hmmm, Crocodile Dundee is an Indy type movie. I like Paul Hogan. I like Crocodile Dundee, but I don't know about Indy-like.

Les Aventures extraordinaires d'Adèle Blanc-Sec has some moments...

...that are Indy-esque that is.
If you enjoyed Mademoiselle Blanc-Sec, check out "The Perils of Gwendoline in the Land of the Yik Yak" from '84 (if you haven't seen it already).

It's in the so-bad-it's-good category.:p

Is she AS pretty and nude as Adele?

Well, she is Tawny Kitaen (remember her?) and yes, there are gratuitous amounts of flesh & nudity in the movie. It was directed by the guy who did, "Story of O" and "Emanuelle"...if that tells you anything.;)

A mini-series rather than a film, but I saw ten minutes of this a few weeks ago on TV.

Ten minutes was all I could stand before deciding it was one of the lamest homages I've ever seen.

It was so bad, it actually was bad. (Soap opera bad).

At least Relic Hunter had Tia Carrere...

...and more equitable!

Like Jane, Sydney Fox was often losing her clothes, but it never bothered her. In fact I think she enjoyed embarrassing her stuffy English assistant, Nigel.

Quite possibly the worst movie I have ever watched.

Was anyone into the (short lived) Veritas: The Quest tv show around 2000-2001 or so?

Ha! I was hoping you'd chime in sooner or later, Ska!:D We talked about it years ago here: Worst '80s "Raiders" Spin-Off

I remember the short-lived "The Quest" TV series from 1976 with Kurt Russell and Tim Matheson (who auditioned for Indiana Jones) but I've never heard of the show you're talking about.

Do you mean Jane from "Jane and the Lost City" from '87? This film is silly but very Indy-esque and it uses every opportunity to have Jane's clothes either ripped or torn off. (I think it's based on a newspaper cartoon strip.)

"Always losing her dress but never her sense of humour."

Yes, that Jane. But I was thinking of those early newspaper cartoons.
