Best Car/Bike Chases in Cinema History?????

can be car, truck, tank, motorcycle and so on........

examples:

-Raiders of the Lost arc (truck)
-Temple of Doom (Mine cart)
-Last crusade (train)
-Last Crusade (Tank)
-Diamonds are forever (Vegas)
-Ronin (never saw it, but I hear it's quite good)
-The Matrix Reloaded
-Die Another Day (Car Iceland)
-Tomorrow Never Dies
-Tomorow Never dies (Parking Garage)
-Goldeneye (Tank) :D
-The Spy Who Loved Me (Car road/Underwater)
-The Living Daylights (Ice Car Chase)
(anythign else)

must be:
-vehical chase (no on foot chases or anything)
-anything with wheels as the primary mode of transportation: car, truck, tank, train, mine cart, motorcycle......
-From a film
-with at least 2 vehicals (other vehical doesn't have to have wheels, can be plane, chopper, boat....)

CANNOT BE:
-plane, boat, helicopter, hovercraft.....even if it goes on land

you can distribute 15 points total between these films

for me:
-Raiders of the Lost Arc (truck) 2

no more then 15 points

along the way we will combine all the scores and show the standings

The French Connection - 3

Bullitt (generally regarded as the greatest of them all) - 3

Stagecoach (race across the salt flats) - 2

The General (whole movie, essentially) - 1

Ben-Hur (chariot race) - 1

well...it rocks just the same...really id have given another 2 points to bb without it. im just trying to be humble with my points. elwood drives awesomely. hes got 56 car violations and 112 lawbreaks...and thats before the movie even starts.

Yes, your thread is BULLITT!;):D

Gone in 60 Seconds came out before the Fast and the Furious, yet the Fast and the Furious gets more recognition and youth praise. Thats one reason I think its just a copycat, and not only does it have a really fake looking "drag race", but they stole the "NOS" idea from Gone in 60 Seconds.

If you recall, the Shelby had one which helped Raines(Cage) out run the patrol chopper.

Totally, that is why this site can be so cool. When people actually post positive things instead of

....another piece of trash I won't see, or this sucks that sucks, sounds like the stoner kids we used to beat up in jr. high.

It is cool if you don't like a movie, say so, give a reason and move on. But there is a lot more to learn about positive things, like Temple telling me to ren "My Life"
