As many of you may know by now, Bob Hope passed away Sunday evening at 9:30 Pacific Time. Not only was Bob Hope a great comedian, but a great actor and "everybody's friend". Even at age 100 Bob Hope would crack a few jokes and one liners that made us all smile and laugh.
"Thanks for the memories."

I think there was always a little bit of Hope's "The Road to __________" Movies.
The scene in "Raiders of the Lost Ark" where Indy flips a mirror (and there's a yelp as if someone has fallen over the side) in Marion and his stateroom seemed more Hope than Bond.

Good old Bob Hope...I don't think I've ever watched one of his movies all the way through, but that's only because I never started watching one from the beginning...no, no, I did see all of "Fancy Pants," but that was just because of Lucille Ball. But he was funny, and a fine American who always would be out with the USO, even in his later years.

And to think, he was old enough to "know" the Indy we all love.
A glass to you, you will be cherished and missed.

I was not a fan, but I felt the loss. A part of Hollywood has gone dim.
