Is anyone set for Halloween with their Indy or Indy-related character costume?

We're having a Halloween party at work so I'll be wearing my Indy costume to that and then out to a club that puts on a great Halloween party every year.

My costume is pretty straight forward except I've added some things. I stretch cobwebs around my fedora and put three rubber spiders that look exactly like the spiders in the film on the back of my jacket. I also carry around a Fertility Idol prop to add to the costume.

Anyone else doing anything for Halloween?

You're doing a great thing and will find it very enjoyable :) Bravo!

I would love to have pics of folks in your Indy related costumes! Perhaps, we can have a contest of sorts for Halloween? A prize could be something special - how 'bout I donate a Young Indy comic for the event? You do your best and make the pic REALLY good! Show what fans you really ARE! So not only the costume - but the setting too!

I'll personally reward the winner!

The comic:

1992 Young Indiana Jones Chronicles #4
"British East Africa - September 1909"
(rare and apprx. value is at $14.00!)

Go all out and I might do more...

Now all we need are judges????

Sounds like a blast! I was planning on Indying for Halloween, this'll give me another excuse! I doubt mine'll be on par with some of the more zealous Indy-nuts out there (though I may get bonus points for shaving my 2 month beard for the part), but I'll send a pic anyway. Great idea, Shipwreck!

Cheers,

Indy has been one of my favorite costumes, just because everyone recognizes it, it's easy to put together, and it's WARM! Late October in upstate New York can be a real -----. (And I know I'm gonna get posts from people in Anchorage or someplace saying "Oh, yeah?". I don't care, I was born in Hawaii, and to me these Adirondacks are COLD.)

I have to say though, the leather jacket and hat are great, especially if ithe weather gets bad (almost as good as the heavy wool Sherlock Holmes costume I wore a few years back). And the whip is great if you run into any trouble out trick or treating. :)

Cheers,

My costume isn't Indy-related, but I'll go ahead and say that I'm dressing up as a fem-pirate. :D Arrrrrrr!!!

Well, I'll be Indyfying myself tomorrow, I'll try to get some pics for you guys. I've got a good outfit, nothing official, but pretty impressive considering I'm a college student with very limited transportation and finances for costuming.

I'll post as soon as I can.

Cheers,

Well this is my first post ever here and I went as Indy last Halloween. The funny thing is that those are my 'normal' clothes.
