Hey, no, I think Short-Round is cool. He was my second fav guy in ToD. And I'd like to see him in Indy IV, if not in his own movie. Maybe they'll bring all the main characters from all the movies to IV. ;)

There is no doubt about it, Short Round is cool. That is a fact. He is the only child actor that is at all convincing. Ok, it's not like the character has great depth or anything, but he certainly can kick a hell of a lot of ass and be incedibly funny at the same time. ALL other child actors are just annoying, like that little dude from the sixth sense, Mr. "I see dead people". I would like to see Shorty beat the hell of that little shit.
Anyway, my point is, give Short Round an oscar!

Short Round is enjoyable, I suppose, even if he may get to be a bit much...it's no great performance, I'll say that.

Short Round is not a bad character by any means, but he really took over ToD to a ludicrious extent and by the end i was suffering from a little Short Round overkill.

Short Round was great. I hope they'll have him in Indy 4.

I think Short Round is adorable, but he's a bit too young for me! Seriously though...

Short Round is one of my favourite characters and I have always felt that he is definately one of the best characters in the Indy trilogy. I have always thought it was cool that his intentions were to look after Indy, and be his bodyguard!

I certainly have never seen Shortie or Ke Huy Quan as an irritation. If anything, I think that Ke is a great actor and I think that Short Round is really cool. ;)

Do any of you other Raven Heads think it would be fun to see Short Round in his 20's and have a trilogy gest for him.

yeah, that would be cool, It wouldn't happen though

I think I would have liked to see some other smaller adventures with him, he was in the marvel indiana jones comic 1 time, and he never showed his face anywhere else in the indy world.

I have heard some say that they see him as the Jar-Jar Binks of the indy world, but rest assured, I think Shorty is a great guy and an overall fun charactor.

hey, one more thing, shorty is a short and uh, kinda round kid in ToD. some people said they wanted him to be in Indy 4

but he would be 20-30 years old. what would they call him?

Tall Slim?

"hey Tally, get over here, how's it going slim?"

I liked him, personally. Liked him as Data in Goonies as well. I think he used the "not very funny" in that movie, too. Has anyone seen or heard anything of him lately?

no

http://imdb.com/name/nm0702841/

Temple and Goonies are the only films anyone remembers him for

but it seems like he has done some work recenlty, assistant fight choreographer, translator, assistant director on X-men and The One

smashing...I hope to see him back on screen some day, he was such a great actor

Where are they now
(2002) He is now a martial artist and working as a stunt coordinator, recently worked with Jet Li on "The One"

I think Short Round is great too! Infact he is the character after Indy himself I most want to see in Indy 4. I think Indy would still call him Short Round, just like some relatives still call me "Tommy" even though I am 25 and most people have called me Tom since I was 10 or 12.

maybe...i'm wary of cameos though

but Avilos,
Welcome to the Raven, where paths meet.

I am qualified to say that, aren't I? Other people do, but its the same guys every time.

Oh well, welcome at any rate.

Just watch out, it might be considered "off-topic" and get the thread closed.
