Just watched Raiders for the first time on DVD last night...did anyone notice the frame skip in the scene where Indy and Marcus are speaking to the two feds? It occurs at about 17:12 on the DVD counter.
In this scene, Indy is explaining to them what the Ark is, that it was used to hold the Ten Commandments. You see the back of one of the federal officer's heads in the foreground. Indy is speaking and walking toward the blackboard. Just before he disappears behind the federal officer's head, there is a very obvious frame skip.
This appears to be a problem with the DVD release and I'm assuming Lowry Digital Images introduced this glitch during their remastering process? I've never seen it before in the videocassette version or the HBO/pay-tv versions I've seen over the last 20 years.
At first I thought I had a defective DVD but then I read a post on another website off-handedly mentioning it.
