How many of you are familiar with this term?
It's a great sound clip you all have heard, many times over. What I want you to do is listen to the link posted below, memorize the scream, then go watch the movies. The first person to correctly identify how many times it appears in the three movies (and when it occurs as well) I will reward you with praise and honor.
No fair using the net or a web to catch your answers, I want to see how many of you can to it the long way.
Just for the record, I am refering to the "classic" take 4 version.

Yeah, I read an article in a magazine about Wilhelm and the scream. It occurs in everything. Don't remember the exact number though.

It is an inside joke amoung the Hollywood sound-techs.
I love watching a movie and I hear "the scream". Gets me laughing every time!

usually prefer the 'wilhelm 4', as for the indy stuff:
raiders:
-2 in truck chase (1 out the back, 1 off the side)
temple:
-on of the musicians in the nightclub
-guy shot in shanghai car chase
-Mola Ram chowed down! :D
crusade:
-after a gernade is thrown
6 total

It's in Die Hard With A Vengeance too, when McClane's plowing through Central Park in the taxi cab he commandeered. Sam Jackson's character asks McClane, "Are you aiming for these people?" You can then hear the classic scream. Then McClane replies, "Well, maybe that mime..."

That I am not sure of, but I do know that they called Indy's back-handed slaps "Ike".

I just saw Return of the King yesterday, and in the scene where Legolis(SP) is taking down the giant elephant thingy, he knocks a guy off, and you clearly hear that scream.

I had the opportunity to watch the American Debates in Iowa, and I think I distinctly heard this one just as Howard Dean realizes he lost the White House, but I can't be sure.

:D
It was close! I wouldn't be surprised if someone took that scream and used it in a movie...the Dean Scream.
