...what would you do?

Personally I would:


Transfer the Star Wars and Indy movies to IMAX film and show them around the world. Imagine how good those movies would look on a giant screen!

Re-release the Indy trilogy at cinemas everywhere!

Make hundreds more of the Indy Toys's McCoy, as there aren't enough to go round!

Bring out a extended version of all the soundtracks.

Get some publishers signed up to write more Indy books
(and get Monkey's Nan Madol story published! :D)

Get Dark Horse to do some new comics (and release the Dark Horizons comic book)

Bring out a new line of Indy action figures (say about 8-10" tall) and have a Raiders, Temple and Crusade Indy, as well as Marion, Willie, Elsa, Henry, Marcus, Short Round etc.

I really like the Imax idea!

I would release extended versions of all the indy films on Dvd. Each disc would include the original movies as we all know and love them. As well as a extended version of each flick with all the deleted scenes.

We definately need new Indy toys. Preferably keep Hasbro out of the picture, so we don't have 52 diff. indys.
McFarlane Toys would be my choice.

welcome to the club. I think you hit the nail on the head

but sadly, you arn't GL, and it seems that no one else here is either. plus, lucasstuff doesn't care about indy or any of it's other franchaises when they have star wars (which has become worse and worse over time since the early/mid 90's)


I have toyed with the Idea of the indiana Jones Dakr horse comics, I would love that

I tried to orgonize a protest to DH to make a new indy comic in around 2000, but I was new to the web and didn't get enough support, in fact the owner of indynet.com (or whatever it was called) shot down my idea on the spot

I have been toying with the concept and It again has entered my mind this past week. If you guys are interested, post here and mabey we can create a petition and get something going. But you have to promise that you will buy the indy comics, convince your friends to buy them, and buy them as gifts for others, we must prove that Indiana Jones is still popular today, and look to the future, if we get this comic going, them perhaps we will see a big push in indy merchandise and kick pre-indy 4 mania into high gear!

Well, if I were Green Lantern, I'd grab Sinestro's big, fat head and...oh, wait, George Lucas. Sorry.

I'd definitely put out more of the higher quality novels (i'm partial to MacGregor, myself). Maybe get Randy Bowen to design a couple of resin busts. I've never seen the Dark Horse comics, but the Marvel ones looked poorly done. An independent company would probably handle that end better.

If I were Curious-George Luke, I would've made more IJ books and video games, and - here's the clincher - would have tried to get the existing books to be better circulated. Do you know how frustrating it can be when trying to find an Indy book in any local branch of the Brooklyn Public Library or even in my local bookstore leaves me feeling like Indy - i.e. I suffer through a grueling "adventure", only to head home emptyhanded? :D

I wish I could take this post back. I was mad that day and I know GL, HF, and SS are doing the best job thay can at makeing Jones4 a real thing.

Well Strider it looks like we will at least be getting the original SW on DVD in September. In case you weren't aware it was announced earlier today.
