2000 kilometers north from Greece, Finn was brought to a halt again. He was about 50 meters into the woods from the accident site when he heard a familiar engine; it was the same truck he had spied on to pass him on the road earlier. The peasants had heard the racket too and now were on their way to help the unlucky travelers out of trouble... or into more trouble.

Looking on the situation from his vantage point in the woods, the Finnishman had to admit himself that he was a little taken unawares when he noticed how the "peasants" suddenly trained a set of guns down to the ditch. <i>Anti-Fascist Guerillas</i>, his mind finally told him. Dogs of war on a scene with not yet a war, hated by their enemies and allies alike. But he knew that these guys favored the same ideals than he did, so the passengers of the jeep would be in no danger, as long as they weren't sporting any fascist thoughts.

For a second, a thought about revealing himself visited in Finn's head, but he gave it up. It still was a better idea to continue along with his original plan and try to get through the border all by himself, with no extra companions to mind. Now, he was in the cover of trench and some thick woods, but he decided to move extra slowly, since he was certain some of the guerillas would be used to a scenery like this as well as he was. <i>They must be good... all I have to do is to be a little better.</i>

he leads them over to a corner of the dig and pulls out the rubbing.
"what do you make of this kevin?" he asks.

just then mike notices one of their party is missing.
"where the heck is finn?"

"I think he said that he was going to a library to research" Pale Horse states

"Yeah, I think you're right" Vaxer Agrees

"yeah, i remember that" Jennifer Agrees

greg walks out of the Temple with several scrolls, tablets and artifacts "I got some stuff that should help us find what we need to, but we need to hurry"

"alright" attila says, "I suggest we go find Finn, finish researching and then head to wherever it is we need to go"

"alright, let's go guys" James leads everyone to the Car

"Mike, go sit in the car, I'm ganna thank Mr. Forrestal for his hospitality" 00Kevin says

"but..."

"just go"

Mike reluctantly joins the rest of the gang in the car as 00Kevin walks back into the temple where forrestal junior is

"You should keep that kid on a leash" Forrestal complains, dusting himself off

with that, 00Kevin sends his fist hard into forrestal's chest

forrestal stumbles back to regain his breath

"I know you were responsible for that cave in, now what the heck are you trying to do here?"

forrestal objects, but 00Kevin pulls back for another punch

"alright!" forrestal surrenders "alright!"

"I'm waiting..."

"I asked ricky to keep an eye on you guys, make sure you didn't fine anything good, but he misinterpreted."

"go on"

"he came back and told me, so I decided that we would make it seem as natural as possible and go looking for them after an hour."

"Forrestal, we've known each other for a long time, and you should know not to screw with me. I'm ganna let this one slide...but you owe me a favor"

"fine" forrestal has to agree

00Kevin walks out of them temple, looking for Ricky, so he could push him into the dirt or something, but he was not aroudn the crime scene. 00Kevin walked to the Jeeps, where Mike, Andrew, Attila, Jennifer, Greg, Vaxer, James and Pale Horse discussed their progress in finding the sword

"not so loud guys, the last thing we need is forrestal after the sword too" 00Kevin interupts

"So what did you say to forrestal?" Mike asks

"I thanked him for his hospitality"

"what about the..."

"let it go"

They turn on the jeeps and speed off in search of their last comrade

"well, it curtainly has those 3 greek letters, Alpha, Omega and Theta. But I'm afraid I'm not an expert on the Greek Language, when we pick up finn at the library..."

"he better be." 00Kevin states, "anyways, we can ask the librarians if they know anyone who can translate this ancient greek."

"sorry about my outburst kevin. that rarely happens to me. that guy just rubbed me the wrong way. i promise it won't happen again." he says sincerely.
"it's ok. just try to keep a cool head ok" kevin says to him.
"guess we should go to library to get finn" greg says

they arrive at the library and all of them pile of the jeeps. they go inside and begin searching for finn. kevin, greg,mike and jennifer are looking through the greek history section of the library but can find no trace of finn.

(Uhh, guys... I surely didn't find that tunnel I was earlier in the library itself. I was there simply reading some books.)

"look, I think it's ganna take too much time looking for Finn. We've got an army of people here already" 00Kevin notes the fairly large group of adventurers "I say we go on, If Finn wants in, he can catch up"

Everyone one Agrees, and they sit down at the tables, looking at all the clues, trying to find out what the answer is


no one notices a man in a Panama Hat watching them from behind the bookcase

"anything strike you about the writing and symbols on the rubbing guys? i have a feeling this may be the key to finding the sword. now if we can just get the scroll back we'll be in business." mike says.
suddenly the lights go out in the room.

00Kevin pulls his gun, it was almost impossible to see "someone is here, everyone put your hands up, not you mike"

everyone puts their hands up and backs away from the table

"Mike, grab everything off the table and put it in your bag, just incase Nigel wasn't acting along"

[Finn]

There is some movement in the darkness, and somebody called out in frustration not finding the light switch. A hand visits the main table, leaving behind a small, old looking paper sheet with some ancient symbols on it.

Two minutes later, a man wearing a white panama suit completed with a fitting hat headed down the sun-beaten street, tossing a couple of fuses into the first trash can he passed.

After a couple of minutes, The Librarian Finds some extra fuses and the lights go back on

"Mike, is there anything missing?"

Mike checks "nope, it's all here"

"good" 00Kevin holsters his gun "sorry about that guys, didn't wanna take any chances

"gee thanks" one of them says

"hey, look" attila posts to the table up front "that wasn' there befor"

the group gathers around it, Mike inspects it

"I've heard of this! The Last of 3 Directions to the Beowulf legends, Finn told me about this."

"great, something else for us to figure out"

"Look! These symbols are Celtic "

"So I guess it's a trip to rainy Britain for us"

"yup, we don't have much time, let's go, we can figure everything out on the plane"

[00Kevin]

At the Nazi airport, Colonel Wolfgang Ballof stands at attention.

The Door of the airplane opens, giving off a slight mist and out steps one of the most evil men in the world

General Frits Zimmerman

The Man who helped Hitler become the head of the Nazi Party, The Man who has been obsessed with finding the 'Philospher's Stone' Since World War 1, a man who killed 00Kevin's Brother. a true Monster

"Herr Zimmerman, We are Honored By your preasence"

"you can dispense with the pleasentries Colonel..."

suddenly a german Corporal Runs to to them and does the salute

"at ease soldier"

"sir, We have received word that the adventurer's are on their way to Britain of all Places"

"you are sure about this?"

"yes sir, I'm sure"

"ok, prepare everyone and everything, we will fly to Berlin in half an hour, then directly to England. And have our men in London put on full alert...MOVE!" ballof orders

"y..yes sir" the corporal runs away with the orders

"Well handled Ballof, you make the state proud" Zimmerman aproves

"thank you sir" Ballof breaths a sigh of releif that the General Aproves and does not....disaprove

"now if you will excuse me, since we will be back in the air in 30 minutes, I am going to walk around the base, I'm sure you can handle everything"

"Yes sir!" Ballof's releif had bloomed in confidence

"hey kevin, any chances you get in touch with your MI6 friends. we could use an update. shoot call the prime minister if need be" Mike requests.
"i'll see what i can find out" kevin replies and leans back and goes to sleep.
a red line follows the journey of the plane. they soon arrive in london unaware that a trap has been set for them.

The group Arrives at the airport, where Raffey De Leon is cleaning his Plane

"Raffey, we have to go now, there's not much time. are you fuly fueled"

"Yeah, where are we headed?"

"London"

Raffey leads everyone into the plane

00Kevin says his farewell to Andrew "Hey Andrew, thanks for your help, you're a good man, take care of yourself"

"thanks you too"

the propellor suddenlt spins

"good luck"

"you too"

00Kevin hops in the plane and they fly off into the distance "contact Mi6, have a couple agents waiting at the airport for us"

they are met at the airport by 2 MI6 agents and are then driven to a building overlooking Regent's Park. the party is lead to a conference room where they are greeted by a gray haired man with a receding hairline and smoking a pipe.
"hello gentlemen and lady, you have been brought here on the wishes of his majesty's goverment. what i am about to tell is completely top secret and you are bound by the official secrets act not to reveal it to any one else under pain of death. do i make myself understood?" he tells them , his penetrating gaze making all but kevin a little uneasy.
"perfectly sir. none of us here will reveal anything i promise you. now would you please tell the other members of my party your name?" Kevin asks with respect in his voice.
"I am M , head of MI6 and 00 section. we know all about your excursion to find the lost sword of Beowulf and it seems in the best interest of the British people to assist you in anyway possible but events have transpired in Berlin that may make your quest more then a mere search for an artifact. Hitler,it seems, sent a telegram last night to one General Fritz Zimmerman who i believe is part of the Nazi Occult Research division. Zimmerman,upon recieving the telegram got on a plane to athens where he met with a Colonel Wolfgang Ballof. Ballof was mentored by Zimmerman and is just as crafty and evil as that old bird. it appears they may en route to england. what they plan to do here we do not know but we do know the Nazis have two opperations running here in england. one is a dig at stonehenge and the other is some project they're working on at a factory by the docks outside of London. we believe both of these opperations may be connected to what you're searching for." he tells them.
"any questions" he asks with a stern gaze

[00Kevin]

"yes, can you loan us any men?" 00Kevin asks

"I can give you the 2 men who were sent out to assist you"

"that'll do, also can we have weapons, digging supplies and access to to the stonehenge dig, the factory and the biggest library in the Area" 00Kevin asks for another favir

"yes, I'll get Q Branch on that right away" M gets up "anything else?"

"prepare 3 cars or jeeps, we're on a tight schedule"

"very well" M gets up and walks to his office

"ok" 00Kevin begins "here is the Plan Pale Horse, James, Myself and 1 guard will go to Stonehenge. Greg, Vaxer, Attila and the 2nd guard will go to the factory. Mike will go to the Library to research, Jennifer will go with him, they will see if they can find out any more information about what's going on here, ok? let's move, cars will be out the front door, pick up what you will need on the way out"

as everyone starts leaving, 00Kevin leans agianst the wall "zimmerman....D@mn it!"

Jennifer walks up to him

"Kevin, Why can't I come with you? It's boring at the library"

"Look, this was the best way to spread the group, please don't argue"

"ok"

00Kevin pulls her in and kisses her "be careful"

"and yourself"

00Kevin watches as she leaves and bits his lip

"Mike, keep you eye on her. And don't let that Paper out of your sight. You can trust Jennifer as a friend, but she is more likely to get kidnapped or something"

"got it"

"how's the arm?"

In all the excitement, Mike had almost forgot that he had been shot in the arm "it's fine, good enough to shoot"

"or turn a page"

"exactly"

"ok, let's go"

they get in the cars and drive to the seperate locations

Mike and Jennifer arrive at the library. Mike goes up to the librarian who is an old friend. "hey edward old man can you show me where your books on ancient greece are located" Mike requests.
they are led to a large room in the back of the library and mike begins pouring over volumes instantly.
two hours later, he leaps up from his seat.
"yes! i found something!" he says excitedly.
jennifer rushes over to the table , dropping the volume she was reading.
"what have you found?" she asks eagerly.
"this lines of poetry seem like a map to the sword listen:
when a full moon is in the sky and orion wears his belt over the circle of stone then a god's sword shall reveal its home." he reads out to her.
"we got to find the others fast." mike says

[00Kevin]

00Kevin's group had snuck around the dig for 2 hours, but nothing important showed

the guard calls them over

"sir, I have something on the radio"

"let's hear it"

he turns to 2-way radio up

"00Kevin, this is MI6, we have received word that Mike has found something and that you are to report to Mi6 with your group at once"

"ok, we're on our way"

at the factory

"sir" the guard radios greg "a message from MI6, we are to report to MI6 at once"

"ok"

greg rounds up his group and they head to MI6

**********************************************

Ballof and Zimmerman get off the plane at a small unmonitored airstrip in England

a curior comes up to them "Sir, we have word that the adventurer's have found something important and they are gathering at MI6, we will have more information soon"

"good"

Zimmerman and Ballof walk through the Base

00Kevin drives his group through the countryside

Greg's group is driven, by a guard, through the industrial section of London

Mike drives Jennifer to MI6

Jennifer turns to Mike "look Mike, about that night"

"you don't have to explain"

"yes I do, you see, I was drunk, my head wasn't on straight"

"are you telling me that it wasn't for real? you didn't mean any of it? it was all an act?"

"yes"

mike didn't know what to beleive, he turns his head forward into the rainy night

tick tick tick tick........

Mike and Jennifer enter the MI6 headquarters and find the others waiting for them.
"you and i need to talk after the meeting kevin, it's important." Mike says to Kevin before they go in the conference room.
as the group enters, M stands up and looks directly at Mike.
"i believe you have something to report Mike" he says gruffly.
"yes sir i found this passage in a book refering to a way to find the sword during the next time orion's belt is over stonehinge combined with a full moon. i wouldn't be surprised if the Nazis are already scoping the area out" Mike reports.
"did you discover anything at stonehinge or the factory ?" M asks the rest of the group.

[00Kevin]

greg shakes his head no for the factory

"well" 00Kevin begins "there were an unusual amount of germans at stonehenge, but I didn't think anything or it"

"Well it seems important now"

"no" 00Kevin begins "It's not, this factory is the key, I bet the german's planted that riddle"

"but why would they do a thing like that?" M question

"I guess they know us too well, They planted it to throw us off"

"I don't think that that's correct 00Kevin" M states

"Well I do, I want ever man that you can spare in that factory now, and that includes the 2 guys who have been accompaning us"

"but..."

"just do it" 00Kevin turns to the adventurer's "everyone else get in the cars, we will go seperate, but don't go yet, We and mike will grab the gear, just be ready"

everyone does as they are told, 00Kevin pulls mike aside, 00Kevin doesn't let him start "now you said you have something to say, and so do I. I have a reason for telling MI6 to send everyone to the factory, and it is this: I beleive that there is a Mole in our group"

"ok Kevin this won't be easy for you but your girlfriend came on to me and kissed me the other night. i didn't come on to her or give her any signals. she claims she was drunk at the time but she seemed pretty darn sober to me. i also think she's been acting a little odd. how much do you know about this woman?" he says to Kevin.
Kevin looks shocked and at a loss for words then an angry expression crosses his face.
"how dare you slander her like that! i thought we were friends" he says to Mike.
"i'll work with you on this expedition mike but after that we're no longer friends" kevin says sternly, a look of warning in his eyes.

he leaves with mike looking at his friend stunned.

00Kevin and Mike sit in seperate Jeeps, he hawkeyes Mike

he carefully made sure that no one from MI6 was there to listen in, because he suspected that someone at Mi6 was the spy. he didn't want anyone to know that they were actually going to stonehenge

"ok everyone" he was in the driver's seat "I know a shortcut, just follow me!"

and they left...00Kevin, Jennifer, Mike, greg, attila, vaxer, Pale Horse and James....no one else

they drove to stonehenge. This was the night, this was it for sure! he had a feeling since morning that he would have to rush today to get this done. And he was right

Jennifer sits calmly, unaware of what was going on

Mike looks worried from his car

MI6 zooms to the factory

The germans await the moment they have longed for as Ballof holds the scroll

00Kevin looks up at the sky

"there isn't much time, but the time we arrive at stonehenge, there will be just a few minutes to stop the Nazis

<small>The Following takes place between 11 PM and midnight, on the day that Orion stands over Stonehenge on a full moon</small>

00Kevin still couldn't beleive what Mike had done, could he even finish this mission knowing what Mike has said and Done? He looked at Jennifer, So Innocent, mabey mike was drunk.

there is not much time

Zimmerman overlooks all that's going on inpreparation for the Spectacle, Nazi flags and Banners were hung, they would be lit later to show the world their superiority.

"My congratulations Colonel" Says Zimmerman "Great things are going to happen to you if this mission is a success, you will become a key general in the race to conquer the entire world" Zimmerman grins and walks through the ruins to check on things, leaving Ballof behind

'If you only knew' Ballof thinks to himself

Mi6 arrives at the factory "he isn't here"

"he will be soon" M assures his men, M had come out because every man would be needed for this one

almost 30 minutes pass until the adventurer's, speeding, make it to stonehenge

they get out a half mile away and some of them get out and sit

"why are you sitting there resting? while we're so near the end?"

they move in on foot, so they don't attract any attention

Mike walks with Kevin, reading the now traslater celtic paper "it says here that there is a 30 second peroid in which the sword can be unlocked, if the Nazis unlock the sword, they will wield it's awesome power forever, we just have to stall them for 30 second. The question is...how do they unlock it"

"I don't know anything about that, but as I said, our friendship is over, but this mission is not, when the mission is over I will see to it that no man associated himself with your type" 00Kevin still had fury in his eyes

"keep your head straight"

"shut up!"

the group was in the area, mike pulls out a watch and keeps his eye on it "kevin, we have to stop them now, there is just 90 seconds until their window of oppertunity starts."

"ok, we all agree that NO ONE, good or evil, can wield the sword, it brings too much danger!"

"agreed"

00Kevin looked closely "hmmm, seems that they have got them selves a prisoner, I wonder who it is, poor chap, I guess they want to make him the first victum," 00Kevin turns back to the group "alright, I want you guys to scatter in a circle around stonehenge, when 1 person moves, we all move, follow my lead." they all move around the monument, but 00Kevin holds mike back "you can't do anything with that arm of yours"

after a minute, he speaks again

"Mike" he forces himself to speak to him "how do they unlock the sword?"

"I dunno" he check his watch "what ever they do, we have 30 seconds until they do it"

"so, the next 60 seconds may be the most important of our lives.....mabey"

"mabey...but make it the next 50 seconds"

00Kevin waits, that means only 20 seconds to go...now 15

"15 seconds mike, what are they ganna do?"

mike looks and hopes that there is a gamble that he can take

"well, uhhhhh" suddenly he knows "the scroll! he's holding on it it hard!"

Ballof stood in the middle, with the Scroll in his hand, with only 5 seconds to go, he raises it towards the heavens

mike counts "3....2.....1....."

00Kevin PLOWS into Ballof, sending the scroll high into the air

as the 30 second window opens, a huge gust of wind begins, almost like a tornado, trapping them inside stonehenge

Zimmerman runs to grab it, but Greg bounds up to slap it out of the way

"get it!" Zimmerman shouts

00Kevin struggles with Ballof "don't let them hold it in the air, let's play keep away!" Ballof gets a punch on him and 00Kevin is forces to roll free, also freeing Ballof

a group of soldiers crowds to where the scroll will next fly, their hands out reached.

Vaxer PLOWS into them, sending them into the ground

Pale Horse catches the Scroll and keeps it to his chest "I got it"

"not for long!" Ballof races towards him

"catch" Pale Horse tosses it over Ballof to Attila

Mike stands and announces the time 20 seconds to go!

00Kevin uses his body to block the soldiers from getting to Attila, but they soon break free

attila makes a small toss to James, who races in a half circle past the Nazis

suddenly, Ballof again shows up in front of James, James passes to Jennifer

"Now!" 00Kevin shouts "they are off balance! knock them down!"

a few quick gun shots take out most of the guards, punches quickly take down Ballof, Zimmerman and the other soldiers

1 last guard races towards Jennifer, out of NOWHERE Finn just out and slugs him

"10 seconds until we win!"

"good job, now let's see who this prisoner is"

00Kevin takes his mask off...It was Nigel William! head of MI6 in greece, he was gaged

"so, the nazis betrayed you?"

"MMMMMM!!!!!M!!M!M!M!M!M!M!" he was desperate to say something

00Kevin removes his gag "you should never have taken that scroll from Mike"

"5 seconds"

"I didn't steal it!" Nigel shouts for the first time in a long time, and he points to the center of the area "SHE DID!"





Jennifer Stood in the Center, with the Scroll in hand, almost everyone was on the ground and watched in helplessness "The Scroll is the Key!"

With that, Jennifer raised the scroll high over her head

the winds stop

00Kevin couldn't speak, so someone else said the obvious "you were 1 second late my dear"

suddenly, a blinding light comes from the scroll, everyone is forced to shield their eyes

when they look back, Jennifer's eyes where Black, and a sword was in her hands

"Jennifer......it was you all along, you went in mike's room to steal the scroll" 00Kevin finally spoke "you gave the Nazi's our locations.....why?"

Ballof gets up and approaches her

suddenly, the swings the sword at him

Ballof explodes in extreme light and heat

she then turns the sword towards a group of Nazi Soldiers, they too explode

Zimmerman is in a Panic, he races behind a pillar, she shoots it and it falls, but Zimmerman was still on the move, he disapeared into the night

"Sometimes......" she destroys the Last Nazi Soldiers "ya gatta take risks to spice up life."

"You never told me........"00Kevin stands to his feet, only himself and Jennifer were on their feet "Was I a risk?"

Suddenly she realised the Cost of world domination and a tear rolls down her cheek "yes"

she fights a battle within, but eventually raises to sword to Destroy her lover, but as she does, a man steps out behind her and begins chanting, it freezes she arm in place, inches from 00Kevin's neck

00Kevin was the only person who saw his face, he turned into a shodow, but the chanting went on.......

"what the HE^^ is going on?" Jennifer couldn't move

She was completely Froze, but not cold. she could not move 1 muscle

00Kevin could barely move either, but that was because of his shock and emotions of the events. he felt what seemed like sand pour on his shoulder, he looked up

it was the sword, the sword was turning into sand

it started from the tip of the sword, and made it's way down to the handle, where it met her hand........


her hand...her arm, turned to sand and feel to the ground

00Kevin was the only one who could see her face, hey eyes were changed, she was innocent again....she whispered something that only 00Kevin could hear.................

00Kevin watch in horrow as his love....dispite everything still his love....turned to sand......

there was a pile of sand, there was no sword, there was no scroll, there was no Jennifer

00Kevin feel to his knees "No....."

the adventurer's were speachless, they all slowly backed away and retreated to their cars

except for Mike, he approached 00Kevin

he put his hand on his shoulder, but 00Kevin shrugged it off

Mike hang his head down and turned away, but as he was about to leave, 00Kevin grabbed his arm "you're a good kid mike"

"you too"

"you know, in the last second there, her true eyes showed, the real her. She was not this person, she was brainwashed, I saw it in her eyes, someone messed with her brain, made her evil. She....she was a good person"

Mike pauses "yes, she was"

00Kevin puts his hand in the sand and stroaks it, as he often did her face, he discovered a necklace in the sands, and pulls it out

"heh, I told ya, I told ya she loved me. I gave this to her on our first date, I though she hated it, mabey she did, but she kept it, and she wore it, it ment soemthing to her, I ment something to her."

Mike didn't know what to say, he just stood there and listened, to comfort him
