Which ones. There r the raiders of the lost ark series by Kenner. Also the Temple of Doom figures. And lately Disney has been making figures, 6 so far.

I've got the McCoy Indy and Arabian Horse.

Don't know if it counts as a action figure....

From the original set, I've got Indy (without his whip) and Toht (without his coat).

From the new Disney figures I've got Indy (with everything, including box).

I was just gonna ask this because it's the only Indy stuff I collect and it didn't seem anybody else did.

Well, my dad and I have a near complete collection. We do have all the Kenner, LJN, and Disney guys but we may don't have all of the vintage guys on the card and loose.

We do not have the German Mechanic, Sallah, Belloq, or the Arabian Stallion loose, for example, nor do we have Marion, Indy as a German, or Mola Ram on the card. The rest we have both in and out of the package complete :D (well, the ToD Indy has repro stuff but it's authentic enough for us). All of our playsets/ vehicle are complete and have the box.

We also have the 12" Vintage Indy complete but with no box. Other 12" figures we have are the 'Relic Hunter' (a generic Indy; very cool nonetheless! One of my favorite figures) and a bunch of custom guys we got off of eBay or from a Toyshow. Those include 2 Henry Jones Srs, Indy as a German from RotLA, Lao Che, Indy in White Tux, Indy in Suit from ToD when he's having dinner at the palace, and also an Indy from LC with a tie and some other neat accesories.

I've got some pics somewhere. I can post them later if you want me to. For more info, I advise you check out the Indy Experience. They had a big article on it all I believe. ;)

Indiana Jones was the first action figure I ever bought for myself with my own money. I was like 5 or 6 at the time, working for my grandmother who ran the BINGO at the local elementary school. I used to set up all the ashtrays on the tables in the gymnasium. Sometimes, the little old ladies would get there early to gossip and they would tip me a few bucks here and there, plus what I got paid from my grandmother.

The first time I worked, my mom came to pick me up and take me to Toys R' Us to spend some of my money. The first things I bought were Indiana Jones and the white Arabian Horse from the Kenner "Raiders" series.

I still have that Indy figure--minus a thumb, his whip, and revolver (put he still has his fedora ;)). I'm sure if I dig, I could find the horse.

Currently, I've been buying the Disney series on Ebay. Right now, I have the Indy figure with the Idol on my desk at work, and classic Wested-wearing Indy on my desk at home. Good times.

Dig that horse out!!!

That's a hard peice to come by for a good price, especially if it's complete. I'm sure you're not willing to sell them, but it'd be worth it to have Indy on the horse.

I want to get a loose Horse and a 4th Indy (yup, we have one in the Streets of Cairo, one in the Well of Souls, and one on a C9 card :D) to put alongside our truck. But that's only if we stumble across a deal.

Did you know a Willie and Shortie appear on the back of the LJN card? My theory is ToD got such a bad rap by the critics about it being too dark for children so the toys didn't sell and LJN didn't bother making the other figures. I really wish they had made them. I like the ToD figures alot because they're not too common :)

You r correct. They were also planning on makeing a mine cart track for the figures to race on but that never happend either. If you get a tomarts guide to collectibles (mine is the 1995 version) im pretty sure it has a picture of a prototype of the track.

Maybe they will be released when Indy 4 comes out.

I doubt it unless willie and shortround are in the movie. I maybe wrong but I think they will only make figures of the characters in the movies.

If Hasbro has the rights to them, you'll be sure to get characters from all the movies. Back when they were called Kenner, you woulda got obscure characters as well but nowadays that lousy company just redoes the same main character over, and over, and over.

I never knew that about the mine cart track. That sounds neat. Do you know anywhere online I can get some info (possibly with a picture?)

No sorry, the only place i had ever heard about it was in a tomart's toy guide. I think it was the 1995 edition (Tomart's is a price guide). They had a picture of Indy,Willie, and shortround in a minecar on a track. Of course they came out with the indy, but never the other two or the minecar track.

You might try looking on the internet under a search though. Now days you can find anything on the web.

Do they show actual pictures of Willy and Shortie or are they just illustrations? On the back of the LJN cards, all they have are uncolored outlines of the figures and they are just nothing more than sketches. I see Shortie came with a suitcase and Willie was in the White tux jacket instead of her dress. That's all that's of interest on it.

I tried Google but no luck sadly :(

You wouldn't by chance still have that Tomart's and a scanner/ digital camera, wouldya? :D

They are actual pictures if i remember correctly. The pictures might have been black and white, I dont remember. It has been a long time since i looked at it. I still have the tomarts guide but i would have to dig it out (we just moved). I have a scanner and a digital camera. I will look for it and let you know if i find it.

I how I wish I was aware of the Indy franchise when I was young! Of course I was a little toooo young when they had action figures coming out.
What did the hasbro figures look like? I've only seen the disney ones.

They looked like the old Star Wars toys basically. They were made when Raiders first came out.

Here you can see most of the Indy stuff ever made (although it's all kinda pricy, if you're interested eBay is the place to go ;))

I recently bought one of the Disney Exclusive figures... it didn't exactly win me over.

And I was disappointed it wasn't in scale with the Star Wars figures. I really wanted a Indy and Han Solo team up. And it seems like there wasn't much effort put in for the details.

I guess I'm hoping with Indy IV on its way, they'll do a new line of Indiana Jones figures that'll be better than this. Deep down, I'm hoping for a 6 inch, super articulated figure like Toy Biz's Marvel Legends.

Get the '95 Han Solo with the buff chest :p

http://www.rebelscum.com/POTF2hansolo.asp

He's taller too. What he makes up for in scale to the Indy, he loses in detail.

And if they make Indy toys for Indy 4, I want McFarlane or Art Asylum to have the rights, not Hasbro. Hasbro pisses me off enough with the SW line.
