View Full Version : How many times a month?

How often do you watch the trilogy?
I see at least 1 film once a month, but now, thanks to DVD's, I have the chance to quickly view a particular scene so often watch pieces of movies.

Once in three months.

Once a week. Some time more then that. I dont get any TV reception living in the deep deep woods of Vermont so its Jones or make the treck in to town to the local bar to knock back a couple pints.

Yeh don't have to have TV for fun lad, yeh can read a book, or explore the woods, or go buy a video camera, make a Indy movie!

I hardly ever watch them. In my opinion seeing them too often just ruins it (point trop n'en faut!).

Every five or six months or so.

I also wait at least a couple of months before watching the trilogy again, to have a fresher perspective.

generally, I watch Last Crusade every other day...Raiders once a week, and Temple of Doom every other month. However, on Saturday or Friday nights, I usually watch the whole Trilogy front to back....

Kate
02-28-2004, 06:47 PM
That's a LOT, pal.

And I agree with Strider that you don't have to have a TV to have fun. reading, writing, cooking, sports, hobbies..... the list could go on and on. But watching Indy is as good a way as any to spend time, I suppose. :)

Tennessee R

Usually Last Crusade about once a month. And the others not as often.

But, Strider does have a point. There is more to life than watching Indy movies. I recommend going out and living the adventure of life. :)

Let's see- I last saw LC about a year ago, ToD in the fall, and ROTLA about a month ago. ROTLA is my fave so I when I get on a "Raiders" kick watch it every few weeks.

Caliber

I tend to watch at least one of the films a week. Not really in order, I watch ToD and LC the most. When I first got the trilogy on DVD I watched them like five times in a row.

My favorite movies of all time never spoil with many viewings! Those include the original SW Trilogy (who else is hyped for that DVD release?), Indy Series, and the Matrix Trilogy.

I watch at least one every 1-3 months. If it's on TV and I have nothing better to do, I'll watch it :)

I must have averaged at least 4 or 5 indy films a day!

AT LEAST!

and sometimes I go months without watching (feb 2004-june 2004 ;))

but don't worry, I'm watching Last Crusade right now......

I had kind of lost interest in Indy lately, but now that the Raven is back, I'm in the mood to watch the movies again.

I watch at least one of the films each month, and NEVER watch bits and pieces of a film at a time. With me it's all or nothing, and most likely it's going to be all.

skywlkrinc

I watch them sporadically. One month I might be really into the Indy mood and watch one a day in order Raiders, TOD, LC. Other months, like the last two, I've watched Raiders and TOD last month (once each) and this month I've only watched Raiders so far.

I like to watch the movies when they appear on TV and on some special occasions, like the original release dates. This saturday marks the 23rd anniversary of Raiders so I'll be watching it then! :)

Raiders of the Lost Ark came out in 1981.
Temple of Doom came out in 1984.

You've got a point.

Lately I've been watching Temple of Doom more (2 or 3 times this week so far)- which is odd for me, because it isn't my favorite, (Last Crusade, anybody?) but I've found it very very interesting how Indy and Short Round act towards eachother, it's almost like a father/son thing is going on. Maybe I'm a little slow discovering that, but it's amusing to me, and I really like that Indy has got some realistic feelings towards children.

i tend to watch the films once every month or so although when i first got my DVD set i went nearly a month watching at least one a day and the bonus footage

Junior Jones

I finally got the DVD set a few months ago. I watched the fourth disc right away, but I don't think I've completely watched any of the movies yet.

I haven't actually watched the trilogy after that one time just right after acquiring the DVDs (and yeah, that's a while back already). I watched Raiders and ToD once and LC twice for some odd reason I can't recall right now. Anyway, now when I look at the box standing in my shelf, I suddenly hear it calling at me again with a very faint voice... maybe next weekend. We'll see.

I watched some scenes from Raiders just last week. I watched Indy and Marion sparring at the Raven. Then I jumped to the yummy scene on board the Bantu Wind to hate Marion for getting to kiss Indy and just melt in general. Love them DVDs!

I'd watch them twice as much if I had the DVDs but sadly I dont have anough cash at the moment :(. But I go in periods where I watch it lots, like the whole trilogy in a week, and sometimes I won;t watch it for nearly a month! But they always come out at Christmas no matter what! :D

more then 5 times each

that's an understatement. although I havn't watched them as much in the past few months, I have had some BIG indy watching fest

there were a couple times (Mostly all 3 months of 2002 summer) that I averaged 5 or 6 viewings a day! NO JOKES! (like I said, not much to do in Ohio)

but don't worry ren, I havn't averaged that high in a long time
