What do you guy's think of making the indy movies into 3D? Wouldnt it be cool to see the snake right in your face just as indy had it in the well of souls? Or to have his whip unfurell to your face just before it makes contact? Where else would it be cool to have 3D?

It would certainly be interesting to see once, but I think it would lose interest mighty quickly. :(

Well, 3D certainly has improved in the last twenty years, but for a full-scale motion picture to have it (and for everyone to get their moneys worth), they have to have those forced 3D shots that are too obvious. You know what I'm talking about (just watch Friday the 13th Part 3 (that was filmed in 3D) and you'll understand.

Now, if they had a ten-minute 3D Indy movie, say, at DisneyWorld...then count me in. :)

great idea! love it! Especially for like a Disney ride. They should consider this :) They did it with that Michael Jackson show back then..that was pretty real.

The it's aa bug's life 3-d show at disney has a special feature in the seats where it feels like bugs are going under you.

Stuff like that could easily make it seem creepy for scary scenes.

Here's my idea: a ride with motion and 3-d, like Spiderman at Universal studios.

You'd go through the bugs from TOD or the well of souls. You could be with Indy as he takes the idol and maybe a 3-d boulder could roll at you (even though the boulder thing has been done in the indy ride they have right now...still it's not 3-d)

They are already in 3D. They are made with real locations and real persons, and real life is 3D. :D

Actually, VP... real life is 4D. Something technology never can duplicate.

3-d movies never work....NEVER

The shots weren't really intended to have something sticking out at you, except in raiders when Indy turns the corner the shoot the truck and his gun is right in the camera. The movie wasn't intended to have 3d shots so they turn the stupidest objects into 3d shots as long as they work. (popcorn is used in one of the friday the 13th movies that was 3d)

I'm not so sure about 3D but I wouldn't mind seeing Indy on an Imax screen. I think that would be pretty cool.

Oh yeah, I've been thinking about Imax Indy too. Would be pretty cool, I think.

Remember, kids: knowing things like this can help you to survive a long train ride if you end up in the same cabin with Stephen Hawking.

Does time really exist, as in the passing of time (this was discussed in the book Timeline)? I don't know the best way to phrase this, so in the words of Michael Crichton in the previously mentioned book, "...'time doesn't flow. The fact that we think time passes is just an accident of our nervous systems -- of the way things look to us. In reality, time doesn't pass; we pass. Time itself is invariant. It just is. Therefore, past and future aren't separate locations, the way New York and Paris are separate locations.'" After reading that, I really think that theory is true. (Great book, by the way. I saw the movie after reading it, but the book is definitely better)

Did you know there's a fifth dimension too? Yeah, it is beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call the Twilight Zone.

Sorry. I couldn't resist... :)

Interesting, indeed. :)
I don't know if it's true, but it certainly makes you think…

That book piqued my interest, and I really believe it.
