Hi All
I'm making different 1/6 scale Indy figures from the the 3 movies and was wondering the suit he wears when he's boarding the plane in Raiders to go after Abner the suit he wears it black or blue.
I've looked at the DVD and it looks black to me any help would be helpful.

Hi Hemble. Welcome to The Raven. :D

In answer to your question, the suit that Indy wears whilst boarding the plane is navy blue pinstripe, and I'm pretty that this is the same suit he is wearing at the end just before the Ark is wheeled away.

Hi All
Here is a work in progress of Indy in dsesert disguise has he appears in Raiders when he is in the map room.
The head is from the Frontline painted with arcylics , the head piece and belt is an old hanky which was painted white .
The bag is from elite brigade(japanese bag) converted and a leather strap added and repainted.
The the boots and pants are from DML and repainted , the arab cloak is hand sewn and slighty dry brushed and the hand book is made from a piece of old thin cardboard.

All I have to say to this is that the image we give of ourselves here may not always be in direct correspondence with the reality.

Now, what did that actually mean? You really think I'm going to tell?

Okay, I'm coming out of the closet. I am a fat nerd who lives with coke and pizza. My skin is all white because I'm afraid to go outside and besides, you can get the FAP*-syndrome out there. You guys are my only link to social life. I earn money to order more pizza and coke by raising weed for the skinny neo-hippies living across the street and upkeeping a spam mail server in my basement. I'm 27 years old and haven't been with a woman ever in my life. Actually, one crazy female thing tried to get me on once, but gave up because I jumped off from the sheets after every time my comp beebed to inform me of a new incoming IRC-message.

But still, I'm happy with the way I live. It's my choice. And I know that I'm one true 31337 compared to all of you others.

Great work! I love that this is a custom. That's impressive! the work on the head is great. I'd have to say this is my favorite Indiana Jones doll I've seen...I like the feeling of a well done custom as opposed to a manufactured piece.

I'm even more inspired to make my eventual 1/4th scale indy figure!

thanks for sharing

Hi All

Well here is another Indy Figure this time in German Officer uniform from The Last Crusade.

the head is from Frontline painted with arcylics and then a matt finnish applied.

The unifom is from DML the only thing missing is the artillary badge as the uniform is an Artillery offiver uniform.
The collar was painted dark green and the epalets and neck insignia were painted red.
The officer's hat was painted dark green, field grey and then piping was painted red, the braiding on the front is string painted silver and then attached with pin heads at the sides.

The boots are from the Hasbro Starwars Imperial officer and the diary was made with pleather attached to some paper that I stuck together.

OK..OK.. sorry..... that was rude..........

Great workmanship Hemble. I want to know how you got the leather jacket to look so real, and worn. It's really great!!

And VP......don't worry about the big zipper...a 12 inch man needs a big zipper.

Hi Monkey

here is what I do to give the jacket the worn look

1-For about 4hrs I use the jacket like a stress ball so the leatherbecomes soft.
2-I then get a pot put 3 cups of water in it and then add 1 tablespoon of fabric softner and 1 tablespoon of washing powder.
3-put on the stove till the it boils but be careful you have to keep stirring it or it will boil over.
4-once boiled turn down to a simmer and add the jacket and let it simmer for 20-30min
5- once the jacket dries I drybrush it with blacks, browns and flatearth colours.
