I was looking through the LL bean catalog for an Indy-esque safari shirt. I found a double pocket shirt but am unsure of the color. the closet to Indy's appears so be called "stone" or something like that

What year is this catalogue? Us at COW have since been disappointed that LL Bean has discontinued the "stone" color. Otherwise, the must have brought it back. I think generally though... well... just take a look for yourself!

There's another shirt, made by Wested Co., (the guys who make the screen-accurate jackets, and who made them for the films) who are now also making shirts and pants, with the help of the COW members. Check 'em out...

fall 2004 catalog stone is still in there

it's a "sunwashed canvas" shirt...Closest thing to an Indy shirt I found in that catalog...

oh and i'm not sure if dark driftwood or tan is better

I'm hoping to get a short sleeved Indy style safari shirt from LL Bean in the tan color... I bet it's going to be comfortable.

Have you searched LL Bean for the Poplin shirt? It comes in both short and long sleeve.

I can't say much about the shirt since I don't own it but LL Bean manufactures some pretty great clothes...especially if you are the outdoorsy type.

I own the MBA Indy shirt from Noel Howard. It's nice but has a tendency to run a little small. It's very light weight and drapes very well. I've only worn it once to complete my Indy halloween costume a couple years ago. Haven't worn it since then....

It doesn't have the pleats.

It's tan too, and it's short sleeved. My concern isn't screen accuracy. I want an Indy-esque shirt that looks good and feels comfortable. I just think that's a cool looking shirt.
