I think He would have made Indy bad in some way to play with our ideas of heroism...like made Indy a misguided hero. Case in point: the Mosquito Coast.

Ford was the hero...yet a misguided one...and that drove him to the edge. it's something I think Night would do with Indy.

I think he would make Indy realize that he has been a comic book hero all along, but he's also been dead the whole time, then he would battle the saucermen that attack his farm house. :D ;)

Just kidding.

I think he would definitely bring a more spiritual/mystical quality to the films, probably with less action though, because he'll be the first to admit that he doesn't do "breakneck action".
