I've been feeling pretty depressed the last few days, including today. My co-workers are a bunch of buttheads and they've been giving me a hard time. Plus my unhappy hormones are raging. Someone help me feel better! :(
*Virtual hug.*
There... calm down now. It's not so bad world.
Smile a little.
<small>You scrolled all the way down here and waited to see me saying something nasty that turns the meaning of this message completely opposite, didn't you?
Knew you did.</small>

Awww, man. Cruddy co-workers are the worst!
My mom sent me an email a while ago that went something like this:
"Think you're having a bad day at work? Go to the drugstore on your lunchbreak and pick up a Q-Tip brand baby (rectal) thermometer and read the back of the package......"All products are personally tested"
OUCH! And you thought your job stunk?!"
Or play this great flash game! Beat the co-worker senseless (Whip the Worker)

No, my resolution is 2048x1536, so I didn't have to scroll. :D
And here's a little song for Indyologist!
Some things in life are bad,
They can really make you mad,
Other things just make you swear and curse,
When you're chewing life's gristle,
Don't grumble,
Give a whistle
And this'll help things turn out for the best.
And...
Always look on the bright side of life.
[whistle]
Always look on the light side of life.
[whistle]
If life seems jolly rotten,
There's something you've forgotten,
And that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing.
When you're feeling in the dumps,
Don't be silly chumps.
Just purse your lips and whistle.
That's the thing.
And...
Always look on the bright side of life.
[whistle]
Always look on the right side of life,
[whistle]
For life is quite absurd
And death's the final word.
You must always face the curtain with a bow.
Forget about your sin.
Give the audience a grin.
Enjoy it. It's your last chance, anyhow.
So,...
Always look on the bright side of death,
[whistle]
Just before you draw your terminal breath.
[whistle]
Life's a piece of $#!+,
When you look at it.
Life's a laugh and death's a joke it's true.
You'll see it's all a show.
Keep 'em laughing as you go.
Just remember that the last laugh is on you.
And...
Always look on the bright side of life.
Always look on the right side of life.
[whistle]
Always look on the bright side of life!
[whistle]
Always look on the bright side of life!
[whistle]
Always look on the bright side of life!
[whistle]
Always look on the bright side of life!
[whistle]
Always look on the bright side of life!
[whistle]
Always look on the bright side of life!
[whistle]
Always look on the bright side of life!
[whistle]
Always look on the bright side of life!
[whistle]
tsk tsk VP, we must be mindfull of certain words in our posts...
All right how about $#!+?

Wow-- I never saw that one coming. I didn't realize it was from a Python movie, and I usually LOVE Python movies! I personally wouldn't see Life of Brian because I've heard they give Jesus a pretty bad rap. I'm all for poking a little fun at the Christian faith (ie- The Simpson's brand humor), but it turns me off when things get downright blasphemous. To each their own, of course, but I still don't like it.
I'm going to listen to this song right now!

It is a parody that is satirizing the Christian legends. Jesus does not even show up in this movie (except there is discussion about the end that it's actually JC who's... well, go figure it out).
See it if you can. It is a great movie and this song pretty much sums up its core idea - there is not a single thing on this Earth that would be so serious and sacredly untouched you couldn't have at least a little laugh for it.

Funny, I was going to post the same song. Actually, I was torn between that and "Galaxy Song":
Whenever life gets you down, Mrs. Brown
And things seem hard or tough
And people are stupid, obnoxious or daft
And you feel that you've had quite eno-o-o-o-o-o-ugh
Just remember that you're standing on a planet that's evolving
And revolving at nine hundred miles an hour,
That's orbiting at nineteen miles a second, so it's reckoned,
A sun that is the source of all our power.
The sun and you and me and all the stars that we can see
Are moving at a million miles a day
In an outer spiral arm, at forty thousand miles an hour,
Of the galaxy we call the 'Milky Way'.
Our galaxy itself contains a hundred billion stars.
It's a hundred thousand light years side to side.
It bulges in the middle, sixteen thousand light years thick,
But out by us, it's just three thousand light years wide.
We're thirty thousand light years from galactic central point.
We go 'round every two hundred million years,
And our galaxy is only one of millions of billions
In this amazing and expanding universe.
The universe itself keeps on expanding and expanding
In all of the directions it can whizz
As fast as it can go, at the speed of light, you know,
Twelve million miles a minute, and that's the fastest speed there is.
So remember, when you're feeling very small and insecure,
How amazingly unlikely is your birth,
And pray that there's intelligent life somewhere up in space,
'Cause there's bugger all down here on Earth.
Mega Hugs and kisses, Indyologist. ;)

Life of Brian didn't poke fun at Christianity...it poked fun at organized religion...all organized religion.

While we're on the topic of Spam (http://www.rikkertdekoe.nl/andre/Work/Mail/Monty_Python_-_Spam_song.mp3)....;)
EDIT: Okay, if this (http://www.swkfans.com/star-wars-kid-remix.wmv) doesn't make you laugh, I give up!
Since Indyologist has just learnt more about her Northern "relatives", I'm putting in one more Python treat (http://www.mwscomp.com/sounds/mp3/finland.mp3)... and my personal favorite.
Hate the movie (for the religion but because the only Monty Python I like is Search for the Holy Grail) but the song was fine....
Until you have blithering idiots singing it for twenty minutes straight.
Finn, which movie was that song from?

Hm. I wouldn't know. These are questions I used to ask the Monty Python nut at school--but I don't go there anymore, so I just ask the stupid questions here instead.
