Apparently that's the title of the new star wars movie. If you search the net you can find many references, but this one seems to be taken with a grain of salt.

But then again, it DOES sound like a 'Lucas' title, with its B-movie flair!!

I guess he didn't have much choice ..."Revenge of the Nerds" was already taken

It's a fine title, what's wrong with it? RotJ was originally going to be titled Revenge of the Jedi, and some early promotional material even had that monitor, but it was changed on protests that Jedi do not seek revenge. Revenge of the Sith makes a lot of sense. The only problem is that it's abbrievated ROTS.

sorry... I just despise the new movies

ROTS will be good... trust me.

sorry to dissapoint you but, I waited to see E1 and E2 to make video and I fell asleep through both. If you see me in line at Episode 3, I'll be wearing a fedora and whip.

I pledge my allegance to Indy!

it should be a requirement for all raven members to know the "allegance to indy" pledge

Not to rain on your scotch parade, but could we change the last line to "With bullwhips and battered jackets for all"??? :D

So, not being a big star wars fan, I'm not sure, but one article says something about one of the movies saying that in the Revenge of the Siths, that the bad guys 'dark side' win. Is that true? That doesn't seem like fun.

Well, I always figured the bad guys win at the end of ROTS, to make way for ANH. But they'll probably just stick some tacty ending at the very end just to make the happy-enders happy--kind of like TESB.

As for the title, well, I think it's better than "Attack of the Clones". I was just hoping they were joking for the longest time.

Well… I'm going to see it, whatever the title is.

Considering the only surviving Jedi are going to be Yoda and Obi-Wan (in ANH) … a lot of the Jedi will be wiped out in this movie.
So I guess it's going to be a movie without a happy-ending.
And that would be fitting, if this is going to be the darkest movie in the Star Wars 'saga'.

I think they're going to end this movie with the birth of the twins (and I'm not talking about the actual 'giving birth'), or the message that Amidala is pregnant.

The bad guys win, that's what makes it baller. But there's hope in the ending (baby skywalkers).

The bad guys won in ESB too.

Out of an IRC conversation:
Hurz: I've no wonder why Anakin turned the dark side. You have the dream family, an extremely hot-lookin' wife and two pretty twin kids. Then the better half kicks the bucket and some old hoodlum kidnaps his sheep... you'd be pissed too.

EpZ: This be no Max Payne, man.

Actually, I just log in once in while to overwhelm my senses and drive them numb.

And about the Lost Pages, guess I just foresaw that the place was going to lose customers like a crack house after the sirens when this gig here reopened its doors, so...

I hope you all to notice that I didn't show up there in the first place... just to abandon it when we got this joint back online. I didn't bother, because I knew this was exactly what I was going to do. So I rather waited than finding a replacement which I knew would be disposable.

I lurked it a couple of times, actually and yes, I didn't find it just a copy of The Raven. But by going through some calculations in my head, I realized that it didn't offer that much difference I wouldn't have abandoned it.

A buddy of mine actually came up with this EXACT title when Episode 2 came out.

He got the idea because Return of the Jedi was originally called 'Revenge of the Jedi' for about a minute. But 'revenge' was an inappropriate word to use in describing a Jedi.

He said Lucas will probably rehash the title and use it in the last movie.

I dismissed him with a chuckle. Turns out he was right.

Truth is, Revenge of the Jedi is pretty much the only way Lucas could go with this movie title. Otherwise - Rise of the Sith or Rise of the Empire.

I dunno, it works for me. Oh, and this has been 'officially' released now, so it's true. I'll see if I can 'dig up' a link.

But can you come up with a better title?

I don't think Star Wars - Indiana Jones IV would be a good STAR WARS title.

In fact, I don't even think Indiana Jones IV would be a good INDIANA JONES title!!!!!!

It kinda hard coming up with a title to a movie that you know very little about, don't you think? ;)

However, I thought that Lucas would make the title of the final prequel the end all of the Jedi. Something really castastrophic like "Conquest of the Old Republic", "Annihilation of the Jedi", or "Jedi No More".

Then, of course Episode IV is entitled 'A New Hope' bringing an even deeper meaning to it.
