Ya Willies cool wiyh the Web man take a look at the Willie Bio I did.
Willie Scott was born in the winter of 1909 in Missouri. She never real got to know her Mom and Dad. Her father was a drunk who did not come home till light at night if at all and her mother ran off with another man never to be seen again. So the responsibility of raising Willie fell on to her Grandpa a fun loving man who was a magician buy trade. Thru the years he and Willie would go from town to town performing thare magic show. As thay would travel Willie would pass the time away by singing on the long trips cross country. Willie's Grandpa who thought her singing was grate decided to have her sing in thare show, the reaction from the crowd was wonderful and Willie was well on her way to becoming a star. After the death of Willie's Grandpa in 1926 she continued her singing job from city to city but when the big stock market crash of 1929 hit work for the young singing was hard to get. Tacking the advice of her agent Willie packed up her life and decided to try her luck in the Far East. On the long trip to Shanghai Willie would dream of a wealthy Oriental man to put her on a solid gold pedestal, this would not happen. Wene she did arrive at Shanghai she hooked up with a man named Lao Che. Lao called himself a "Merchant Prince". Everone else called him a crime lord. But whatever he was he had enough money to keep Willie's dreams of a future filled with champagne and diamonds alive, even if Lao had not yet make that dream come true. After the events that took place in the movie" Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" Willie returned to the US and was one of the most famous singingers in the 1940s. She now has tons of monny and is sending a certian "Pint-sized sidekick" to a prestegious boarding school.

Does anyone else like Willie?
No. :)
She screams too much and is not a good counterpart to Indy. She was pretty though. Marion was perfect for him...

Deidre was perfect for him....but she had to die because they got married...well that's not exactly why she died but...you know what I mean...I could not have stayed that way.

I'm a girl and I totally agree that she is the best looking Indy girl and I think she is funny and her screams don't annoy me.

Poor Mrs. Spielberg has hit the wall now compared to the other two. She hit it hard too. Indy would be spending a lot of time away from home. Alison Doody still looks great and Karen Allen is still cute, in my opinion. I know it is not all about looks, but take them away and what does Willie have to offer Indy? The others had spunk and were helpful because they wanted to be, not because they had to be.

Er, what about Elsa? Ms Doody might not have aged well, but in LC she is absolutely gorgeous.

????Ms. Doody looks terrific. Capshaw was beat with the ugly stick repeatedly.

I should clarify... I don't think Ms Doody is terrible looking at all. Good lord, she looks quite nice. But compared to how she looked in the Elsa role, I feel she has aged quite a bit. In many ways, I find it hard to even see Elsa in her face anymore. I think hair might play a big part in that. The long, almost white, hair with the attractive waves really suited her in the Elsa role. She looked a million dollars doing it. Now? Maybe a half mill ;)

Among the three leading ladies (the characters, not the actresses): If it wasn't for the fact that she was a Nazi (or Nazi sympathizer), Elsa is the winner in both looks and personality. :)
But the other two aren't bad either. ;)

I think she suited the part even with the bias of Spielburg
A bit of random Doody info: a short while back, she was very close to making herself a well-known actor again, since she almost landed to the role of Eowýn in LotR.
And out of the Indy girls, yeah, I find Elsa as best looking.

...so I guess we are answering the topic of this thread in an indirect manner, by the Ms. Doody references? ;) The only thing I would change if I were her would be my last name...

I like Willie. More precisely, I like how the three Indygirls are completly different. Indy is not confined to one type, he likes all.
Willie is a little too 'Cliché' if you ask me, but she gives a light tone to the dark Temple Of Doom atmosphere. Anyone on earth would fit better to the TOD atmosphere then she does; that's why it's funny.
