I have a topic for you Indy Collectors out there to talk about. ---

What is the greatest deal you have ever gotten for an Indy Item?
It could be Gear, Action Figures, Collectibles,or Anything else Indy.

My greatest deal occured about 1 week ago on Ebay. There was an LJN MOC Carded Giant Thuggee that I won for $10.00. No one else even bid on it. It was a C-8 card and a C-10 Figure. Great Find in my opinion.

So what are yalls great finds?

Over and Out,

3,25 euros for a great vintage shirt, 27 euros for a mint Mk VII are good deals I guess.
God bless the internet for cheap gear.

I sold my Lee Keppler whip for $80... I'd say that's a good deal, considering it's not a very good whip, and I bought it for $100.

I'm getting a new, high quality whip for $255, which is the cheapest I've seen around.

In Christ,

I got a moderator job on the leading Indiana Jones Internet Community by being a sarky bastard... I'd call that a pretty good one. :p

Yeah, talk about the steal of the century. I mean, who in their right mind would chose someone like you to...oh sorry. Was that outloud? Just kiddin', man. Keep up the good work.

Here's my "deal":

I saw the awesome cardboard cutout to "Bring Indy Home on DVD" sitting in front of FYE, calling out my name as I passed by. So before I left the mall, I came up with a plan. I happened to know the manager's name from a previous visit (wouldn't know him if I saw him, but know his name). So I walked into the store and asked for the manager Mike. I figured one of two things would happen from there:

1. Mike would be working, and I would ask him kindly how it would be possible to get the cutout.

or even better yet

2. Mike wouldn't be working, and I would ask the weak little co-workers kindly how I could get it.

So, I decided on option 3., which was:

Mike wasn't working. So I lied (such an ugly word) and told the co-workers that I had talked to Mike last week, and he told me to come in today (a week after the DVD release) to pick up the cutout if it was still there. Like gullible co-workers that are the youth of America, they believed me. Despite a few weird looks from mall walkers as I passed by holding a 7' cutout, the rest was a piece of cake (once I found a way for Indy to fit into my car).

A new car for my wife. What a great deal!! (think about it, it'll come to you ;) )

Seriously, I won an eBay auction for seven Indy books, all in mint condition (five copies of RotLA with different colored covers, a copy of ToD, and one of LC) for $10.
