Can't wait to see it.

Did it hurt being dragged behind a car?

Frank wasn't really hurt. He destroyed a good pair of shoes, and a pair of pants, but that's it!

He was actually laying on a skateboard, with smoke pots taped underneath it!

Well, he was fun to work with!

The martial artist in the clip is Matt Ursin. He's a Hapkido, Tae Kwon Do, and Iaido instructor, who's also pretty good with a pair of nunchaku! I found him from his webpage,

www.ursin.org

and he was willing to come down and film a few shot inserts for my movie so I could replace the god-awful original "martial artist"!

Thanks. Yeah, my junior year in high school. We started a sequel in '83 that we never finished, unfortunately.

How far was it from being completed?
Did you give it a name at that point?

Yes, it was called "Raiders of the House of Death"! Indiana Jones is sent to a haunted house to "de-haunt" it. We filmed maybe 20% of it. This was in '83, and we were all about to graduate from high school, and step into the "real world". So unfortunately, we all got a bit side tracked. Frank went into the Navy, so his free time was non-existant.

I do have a full fight scene filmed between Indy and a martial artist thay's pretty good! In the "Golden Eyeball" trailer, at the beginning, Colonel Bob is saying "Good Day, Dr. Jones. The Government has an assignment for you." This was "House of Death" footage that I cobbled together to give "Golden Eyeball" a better ending.

Sounds like you had a lot of fun doing it.
Do you still have "House of Death" footage in the Bad Penny vaults?

Yup! I can probably make a good trailer out of it, for a movie that will never be! I do have a full conversation scene with Colonel Bob and Indy about the House, a full fight scene, two small scenes of two people disappearing at the house, and the very beginning of Indy investigating it. That, and loads ofoutttakes and behind the scenes stuff.

I can't recall how expensive video tape was back then, but my media class teacher refused to let me keep all the outttake footage from "Golden Eyeball", because he wanted to use that tape again. He wanted to record over "House of Death" as well, when it was clear we weren't going to finish it. But I sort of...acquired it before it was recorded over!

Its amazing how well 22 year old videotape has held up. I've since transferred everything I have onto digital videotape, and have retired the originals.

Good stuff.
If you ever release a "Golden Eyball Special Edition" DVD, you could include a teaser of "House of Death"! :)

How do I get my Indy fan film "noticed" on the Fan Film Theatre? I emailed the address provided on the FFT page over a month ago, and got a message that the mailbox was full.

I am not familar with the fan film theater, I am sorry to say. Do you have some more information about it for the left coast fans of Indy? There are many here with all sorts of knowledge of film, and they may be able to help you.

I'm a little embarassed BP. I was thinking about stuff out here in the southland, and didn't even remember Gilles offer on the Raider.

Will you forgive me?

Lemme know if you find out, it's not looking like TF.N fanfilms is going to accept mine, so I'll want to submit it here.
