Colonel Vogel

This is the new Indy quote game, as opposed to the old Indy quote game which may or may not exist. Just like the movie board quote game except you only got 3 movies to choose from. Super nerds can also use Young Indy Chronicles for quote inpsiration. I'll start.

"Asps, very dangerous... you go first."

Hello Adrian.

"Bad dates."

VP
02-22-2005, 12:11 PM
Both are from Raiders. This game is way too easy.

Luisiana Jones
02-22-2005, 12:37 PM
"This should be in a museum" lol this game has no sense, almost every quote of the movie is engraved in their history so it makes no sense playing it, but still i put a quote, oh my old friend the contradiction... ;)

Tennessee R

Is that it, or is it something like "It belongs in a museum!" ? Just wondering.

"Some of your pieces that you have here are quite impressive" (Is that right?)

Luisiana Jones
02-22-2005, 03:37 PM
yes sry i failed in the traduction from spanish to english, really sry, but hey it makes it harder lol :p

Again sry :D

VP

Young Indy says "This should be in a museum" on the Dunn & Duffy Circus Train and Indy says "That belongs in a museum" on the ship of Panama Hat.

"I got SIDETRACKED!!!"

Luisiana Jones

theinfiniteweird

Oops...that it was another game.

[paraphrase]"Pieces are impressive..." Doesn't he say something like that to Donovan when they first meet?

Kinda cool, VP.

"I got SIDETRACKED!" Indy says this to Marion in the Well of Souls. He rips her dress right after that to make a torch and all.

Here's one:

"Because it's wired."

VP
02-26-2005, 08:25 AM
LC, Henry's room is wired.

You'll have to give it another try. It' not from "Raiders".

i hate snakes

theinfiniteweird
03-01-2005, 02:41 PM
"I hate snakes, Jock. I hate'em!"

RotLA, or course.

Here's a "trick-question" on, but someone will still get it easily, probably.

"Good Day, Sir Jones."

VP
03-02-2005, 05:21 AM
Umm, Last Crusade?

Luisiana Jones
03-02-2005, 11:13 AM

"...bronze piece, 'bout this size, with a hole in it-off center, with a crystal..you know the one I mean?..."

Indy Parise
03-03-2005, 09:23 PM
It's from LC when Vogel says
"Good Day, Herr Jones"

Herr is translated from German to Sir or Mr.

"...bronze piece, 'bout this size, with a hole in it-off center, with a crystal..you know the one I mean?..."

hmm raiders? :p

@parise: as far as i know, "sir" is "sir", even in germany. ;)

Luisiana Jones
03-04-2005, 02:09 AM
If its Herr Jones its from LC, and if its sir Jones i dont have any idea :o

Indy Parise
03-06-2005, 09:57 PM

theinfiniteweird

Sorry, forgot I had posted something here. I'm bad about posting in too many places and not checking.

LC

Vogel: (looking around, see henry reading newspaper)
"Guitentaugh, herr Jones"

Guitentaugh (or however it's spelled) translates to Good Day. herr translates to Sir or mr, as someone already mentioned. yep, VP got it right. You have to admit, it was pretty clever...I guess. :)

Here's another, and I'll try to check sooner ( :o ) this time.

"Right, all of us."

VP
03-07-2005, 05:48 AM
ToD.

I think that the correct spelling is Guten Tag.

theinfiniteweird
03-10-2005, 04:32 AM
This is WAY too easy it seems. I'll try some innovative presentations- they might still be easy, so humor me :p

1) Itself solution the presents

2) It's ____ to ___ yourself ____ you _______.

3) [Yes] time to [agree].

4) You don't believe they don't come any closer than that through that wall?

VP
03-10-2005, 08:13 AM
1) LC
2) It's time to ask yourself what you believe - LC

theinfiniteweird
03-10-2005, 01:36 PM
Yep! 3 and 4 still up for grabs!

3) [Yes] time to [agree].
4) You don't believe they don't come any closer than that- through that wall.

VP
03-10-2005, 01:44 PM
4 is at least LC and Raiders.

ij1936
03-10-2005, 02:21 PM
"...so why don't you give your mouth a rest?...Okay?...Doll?"

theinfiniteweird
03-11-2005, 01:25 AM
Yep, 4 is one quote from each movie. Which part ofeach sentence is from which movie?

VP
03-11-2005, 07:12 AM
4) You don't believe they don't come any closer than that through that wall?

they don't come any closer than that -LC
through that wall - RotLA

theinfiniteweird
03-16-2005, 02:03 PM
Yep. Anyone know the rest?

theinfiniteweird
03-30-2005, 11:47 AM
I guess I've stumped everyone.

"You don't believe?" is Molah Rom from ToD. Oh yeah, now you recall! :p

Here's another. Whoever gets it, post a new quote, or form of a quote like I did:

"I touch NOTHING!"

Luisiana Jones
03-30-2005, 03:05 PM
Thats short round from TOD ;)

theinfiniteweird
04-01-2005, 11:21 AM
Correct! Your tunr to post a quote!

Luisiana Jones
04-02-2005, 04:49 AM
There it goes:

"They're trying to kill us." ;)

VP
04-02-2005, 05:26 AM
"I know dad!"
"It's a new experience for me."
"Happens to me all the time."

LC.

Luisiana Jones
04-02-2005, 06:55 AM
Yup, VP your turn man ;)

VP
04-02-2005, 07:01 AM
"Blow up the jeep."

theinfiniteweird
04-05-2005, 05:07 PM
Uhmmm...I don't think this is right, but for some reason, I'm thinking RotLA, somewere around the Wing/German Mechanic action/fight scene.

Like I said, it's a "hunch" that I think is all screwed up. If I'm right, I'll actually need to watch the movie again to see it for myself.

Luisiana Jones
04-06-2005, 01:58 AM
I´m thinking the tank chase from LC :D

VP
04-06-2005, 05:03 AM
Luisiana is right. "Der Kubelwagen sprengen."

Luisiana Jones
04-06-2005, 11:06 AM
Next quote is:

"Let us hurry. There is nothing to fear here. " ;)

VP
04-06-2005, 11:40 AM
Satipo/Sapito, RotLA.

Luisiana Jones
04-06-2005, 11:44 AM
Yap, Satipo, Sapito, Estupido or whatever ;)

Your turn man :whip:

VP
04-07-2005, 04:34 AM
"My name is Indiana Jones."

Jay R. Zay
04-07-2005, 04:46 AM

Luisiana Jones
04-07-2005, 10:41 AM
Tod, when arriving the Pankot palace??

VP
04-07-2005, 11:47 AM
Correct. Your turn again.

Luisiana Jones
04-07-2005, 12:25 PM
"Try the local sewer" ;) :whip:

"I wonder why sometimes when I post, my post number stays the same  " and no this is not the Indy quote

VP
04-07-2005, 12:53 PM
Your post count doesn't rise in here. You would get lots of posts way too easily.

Luisiana Jones
04-07-2005, 03:44 PM
lol, thats a great way to stop ppl from gettin lots of posts ;) I didnt know about that method.

But hey can u guess my quote ;)

VP
04-08-2005, 01:02 AM
RotLA.

"Get him!"

Luisiana Jones
04-08-2005, 05:17 AM
Last crusade, when you can see River Phoenix as Indy??

VP
04-08-2005, 06:23 AM
Yep. Where are all the other players?

Luisiana Jones
04-08-2005, 10:26 AM
Dunno, its maybe cuz i´m the best and quickest, smarter... ;)

theinfiniteweird
04-08-2005, 02:09 PM
If I answer one or two, I let others have a chance and not answer for a while. Also, I have limited computer access.

Here's a quote:

"You fool! What are you doing?!"

00Kevin
04-11-2005, 01:43 PM
Mola Ram in Temple, when Indy cuts the bridge's rope

"Indy, what are they doing?"

theinfiniteweird
04-11-2005, 06:41 PM
Correct, 00Kevin.

00Kevin
04-11-2005, 08:47 PM
"Indy, what are they doing?"

theinfiniteweird
04-12-2005, 04:34 PM
Is that Willie (ToD obviously)? I have this hunch, but I could be wrong.

When they take the elephants, or when they witness the thugee ritual, maybe?

00Kevin
04-13-2005, 04:09 PM
nope, not what I'm looking for

VP
04-17-2005, 02:23 AM
The beginning of LC?

00Kevin
04-18-2005, 01:12 PM
correct VP, Indy's childhood friend Herman says it as they spy on 'fedora' and the other looters

VP
04-18-2005, 01:26 PM
Someone else can ask.

00Kevin
04-18-2005, 01:50 PM
don' be a party pooper now

VP
04-19-2005, 07:05 AM
Is that a quote?

00Kevin
04-19-2005, 12:59 PM
I'm sure the arab saleswomen said that to marcus when he didn't want to buy the water (fish make love in it)

but no, you choose you

VP
04-20-2005, 08:31 AM
"Hey, (something, guess what)".

Yes, that's a quote. This might be hard.

00Kevin
04-20-2005, 02:54 PM
"Hey, Yo, what's the dilli-o?"

Indy's Famous line in Indy 4

VP
04-21-2005, 01:02 AM
Wrong. Try again.

theinfiniteweird
06-10-2005, 01:43 PM
"Hey, Yo, what's the dilli-o?"

Indy's Famous line in Indy 4

That's so stinkin' funny!

Oh yeah, the quote...I have no idea.

Colonel Vogel

Colonel Vogel
