Well here i am again with more doubts, im gonna buy a fedora and i want to buy the top of the top, ive been saving a lot, and im between the pure beaver hat from adventurebilthats and the HJ from toddscostumes.

Plz post opinion!! :D

If you have the money, go with the Adventurebilt. It's the best Indy fedora that you can buy. Steve can even add your initials to the sweatband if you want.

The felt, the accuracy of the shape, and my friend, the customer service, you cant imagine how well Mr. Delk treats the customers, you just cant imagine... :whip:

Since Mr.Swales left his job in Herbert Johnson's Hats, their products not are the same... today, the most exactly Fedora that you can buy, is the Steve's Fedora. No doubt, buy the Adventurebilt Hat, is the best quality-prize Fedora.

I don't know about that. I bought three HJ's back in 2003 and they are superb. I was assured that the person who is making the Indy hats was personally instructed by Mr. Swales. There is NO other hat!

That doesnt mean that HJ are bad hats, they are great but when it comes to shape and felt quality ABīs are the best by far, but if you want the fedora made by the company that made the ones for the movies then go for the HJ, and if you want felt quality and a great shape then its the AB.

Btw if you guys plan to get a Herbert Johnson, get it from www.toddscostumes.com it ships internationally, its fast, and they shape your hat ;)

I had heard 'Fedora' was going to be obtaining some HJs for sell in his bash. I'm sort of waiting on this.

Now if I don't have the money for the AB or HJ what should I get. Their is one at uswings.com but the officially licensed one is slightly better.

I have an HJ and an Adventurebilt.
