1/6th scale Ark [Archive]

Hey everyone. I'm working on a 1/6th scale Ark of the Covenant. For those who don't know the scale, that's 12" figure size. What materials should I use to make it.

I'll try the balsa wood, a matchbox may not be big enogh thanks guys, but if anyone has other materials to use post them please.

i'd use a cement form and cast resin. balsa wood isn't very stable and light, smooth wood in general isn't very suitable for adding small details.

I would sculpt it out of clay, then have it bronzed.
