[Star Wars] Official onscreen order

      If one was to watch the entire official Star Wars onscreen (movie & TV) saga in the order in which the story takes place, would it look like this?


Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace
Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones
Star Wars Clone Wars
Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith
Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope
The Star Wars Holiday Special
Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back
Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi
Star Wars Ewok Adventures: Caravan of Courage
Star Wars Ewok Adventures: The Battle for Endor

      I was initially going to leave out the Holiday Special, but though George Lucas pretty much disowns it now, he did commission it from CBS (i.e. it wasn't a fan-made project). Also, all of the principal actors/actresses from A New Hope except for Sir Alec Guinness (Obi-Wan Kenobi) and Kenny Baker (R2-D2) reprised their roles in it - even James Earl Jones returned as the voice of Darth Vader. All that is way too significant to simply dismiss.

      In any case, will the two upcoming Star Wars TV series take place in between Episodes III and IV? :confused:

As of now,the word from Lucas is that there will be a TV series and that it should take place between III and IV.As the project develops,that timeframe may change,however.

Your list is correct.There's still some debate as to which order the films should be viewed in:release order(in which case,Episode 4 would be first)or Saga order(TPM first).Ultimately,it's up to the viewer to decide which order they watch the films in,and there are plenty of things to be said for both sides of the issue.
