I'm playing Gun for Xbox right now, and if you like Clint Eastwood movies this is your game. It reminds me of Indy alot too, and it even has a nod to the Map Room in Raiders. In the game you can hunt,be a lawman or outlaw,be a rancher, gamble, scalp enemys(hours of fun) or follow the storyline-which is very good for a videogame. Check it out if you get a chance.
Moved to OT, as this one's about a western game.

I've heard about this game but I haven't had a chance to play it yet. It sounds neat though.:)

I'm very curious about this game for x-box. I was hoping maybe to get it for my birthday but money is tight right now. Can you go into more detail about the game. I don't know what detail I mean but anything you though cool about the game.
The game is like playing a spagetti western movie. It is kind of like GTA on a horse, especially in the side missions(ranching, bounty hunter, lawman, pony express, hunter, ect.) The story is pretty entertaining too, but the coolest thing for me is just riding around on horseback, pulling off spectacular slo-mo headshots :D .

I read something about Gun long time ago, while still in concept phase, in some gaming magazine
In the past, I haven't seen that many Western games for PC, Xbox or PS (and for the guys who always require thoroughness: it's also for PSP) - I played the demo of Outlaws a couple of years ago - liked the gameplay and Clint Bajakian's fabulously Ennio Morricone-ish soundtrack. But such graphics (though very nice 2D cartoonish-drawn rendering) are a bit outdated now.
Next to Outlaws and 'Gunslinger' (nut sure the title is right), there's another Western phantom-hunt-down game (can't remember the name; neither whether it's released yet - doens't look appealing to me).
So today I bought Gun and SW Battlefront II in a row, since I'm tied up in work I'll checkthem out later this week... I'm curious 'bout the storyline, gameplay, soundtrack and also that special atmosphere of New Mexico pueblos, showdowns and Alamo-alike situations, mines, train stations... and off course plain ol' palm-triggering a personal arsenal of shooting irons :-)
Those interested: you're gonna love the epic intro of one of the game trailers called 'Kingdom Come'... head on to www.gunthegame.com :whip:
